Revenge of the Nerds - Talent Performances
I want that guitar
Lamar luego estaba en Cobra Kai???
Fun Fact: The guy who plays “Booger” now voices “Snot” from American Dad
When Booger does the kick during playing that's awesome
Isn’t “nerds” just a synonym for Jews? 🤷♂️
Show for Part 2 takes me back to RUN DMC, Beastie Boys, and Anthrax 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Una escena épica, queda para la historia 😊
I love Lewis' dense laugh in the second song 😂
Shit still here rocking that good life! Sugar mama ❤ I get to spend everyday like a senior skip day ❤
Far better breakin than Raygun!
The first show in 84 is the real 80s IMO Everyone has their own style instead of long haired sorority Barbie dolls in ‘87
Albert Einstein saved us all from those Ultra assholes
Raise your hand if you would rewind this part over and over so much you learned Lamar’s rap 😂
Laurie Anderson, Elvis, Devo, and an obscure 80's rapper!!!! Forgot the Village People!!!!
Yep Y2K lol
I'd rather hang out with these people than the fuckin meatheads any day
Happy 40th anniversary to this comedy college classic 🤓
Poindexter was my boy!!
Dig the edit to put the two together!
This film is like the embodiment of the 80s
Timothy Busfield and David Wohl are absolutely lovely togheter as Poindexter and Dean Ulich in this same film.🤩😍🥰❤️🔥
I really miss being in a world where we didn't take ourselves so seriously and we could still laugh at one another, with one another. Some people believe that humans have humanity because we are the species that laughs at death. We laugh at each other. We don't really do that anymore.
unfortunately, that world has never existed
Is it just me is is Noodles from the offspring just a poindexter cos-player???
D-E-V-O
The80 what an era🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The song is cool I have to admit that ❤
I like how they actually plugged in the CR-8000 and TRS-80, but then everything just makes random synth sounds when they press random buttons. It's still much less ridiculous than Thomas Dolby pretending a TR-606 is a keyboard at the 1985 Grammys.
1984 was a great year, greats movies was make it that fabulous year.
Cancel culture would be all over takasi and booger at this point lol
NERDS!!!!!!!!😂
No on 15 .. 10 4 .
.........This shit is still amazing!!!!!!!!!!
Have not seen the other performance it was fun and energizing😂
Hi do you happen to have any more years of the MTV new years? Mainly the ones from the 2000s, or 2010s
Poindexter absolutely murders it on the electric violin. He steals the show here I think.
Fake ass instrument. Cringe movie
❤🎉 my thoughts 😁
So cool to see Pointdexter all punked out. 😄❤️
I would love to see them do these tunes at a convention
Do you happen to have any other MTV New Year’s Eve specials?
40 years later is still fresh
I'm a nerd. And i'm pretty damn proud of it! 😁 And I am too
This scene is arguably one of the best in this classic! I remember my sister and i watching this movie CONSTANTLY even though we were pretty young.and a few scenes were a bit much for a kid...but we didnt care! The 80s produced some of the BEST movies and music and i was blessed being an 80s child as times were so much simplier then!
📽️👏👏👏
"We got Booger Presley on a mean guitar" "And a rap by little ol' me Lemar" I got the EXACT same model guitar for my 13th birthday. It's an Antares silver burst star guitar. My first guitar and i still have it. My birthday is in 5 days so that will be exactly 40 years since my mom bought that guitar for me. I started playing on that guitar and will be celebrating 40 years of guitar playing with my Booger Presley guitar in my hands. Yup i call it BOOGER!
Awesome, dude! And happy birthday!
@@guerrerosdecarton Ditto that! 🎂
I remember seeing this movie as a fucking noodle armed scrawny and gawky kiddo.... honestly one of the 1st times I felt comfy in my own skin. Knowing that there existed other smeg-heads like me. Weird bloody movies, but Still love them.
And to think Lamar was anti jock back the but now he's quarterback for the Ravens
The 80’s had us on a higher vibration 🤙🏾💯 We just had more spirit back then 🙏🏾 Ever music genre back then did more with less 💯💯✊🏿✊🏻✊✊🏽
Young people really have no idea how much MTV here in the US influenced pop culture. The peak of it was during the early years of TRL 1998-2001. I am sure if you tried to explain this to Gen Z or Gen Alpha they would look at you weird & struggle to understand it. Whenever I think or see this time period I think about how much things have changed since then even just from 2001 to 2010.
Excellent movies that came out in 1984. Old memories.
What the F is a FRUSH???
Hilarious 😅😅😅😂😂😂
I miss this mtv
I FUCKING HATE THIS MOVIE
