Yeah, it's going to be side stuff for the foreseeable future. We don't return to Cosmo Canyon until Episode 82 and we don't continue the story again until Episode 86. 🙂

Yup, my heart swelled when I saw Cid. ☺ His character model looks amazing and he sounds exactly how I imagined he would have sounded, lol. And Roche..... willingly becoming a Hojo test subject..... just pure insanity. 😒

Yeah, Cloud's actions definitely shocked me and broke my heart, at the same time. It's just the mako poisoning, though, and Sephiroth is taking advantage like the opportunist he is. Of all the people he lashed out at, though, it just had to be Tifa and that's what makes it worse. She doesn't deserve it. And the fact that she swore to fight for him, after all that...... such an emotional moment. And the section with Tifa inside the Weapon inside the lifestream.... honestly, I was just stunned silent. One of the most beautiful moments I've ever experienced in a game. It just made me love Tifa so much more. Most importantly, however, we now know the truth about what happened all those years ago.

Yeah, Yuffie was definitely giving off 'spoiled brat' vibes, lol. Seeing Barret scold her like an agitated parent was hilarious. You've got to admire it, though. She has one single love in this world - materia - and she'll stop at nothing to get it. It's literally her whole reason for being. And, with regards to Scarlet, trust me, my dude, I'm very aware of just how crazy and evil she is. I think that's part of the attraction, tbh, lol. There's just something so mesmerizing about seeing a sexy, dominant woman go about her business. It's like magic. I can't help it, lol. 😅

@Glesgeek IKR!😉 Yuffie maybe a capable ninja girl but she's still a typical 16 yr old kid with only materia on her mind and yes that was funny how Barret just sorta punished her😂 and I also get what you're saying about Scarlet too but she's still a corrupt Shinra witch all the same🙄

Yeah, Gongaga is awesome. Really beautiful zone. And, just so you know, I'm probably gonna play Crisis Core after this. I'm annoyed at all the references I'm not getting, so don't tell me any more about it. 😉 And the whole scene with Aerith and Zack's parents was really sad. They just miss their son, which is understandable. One thing is for sure, I'm strapped in for this part of the story.

I actually really enjoyed everything relating to Dyne's death. It was so well done. I didn't think I would get emotional but you could practically feel their pain coming out the screen. And Shinra showing up when they did just solidifies that pain. If they hadn't shown up, Barret could have talked Dyne around.

Yeah, they are both brats in their own quirky, hilarious way, lol. And Palmer getting the Hojo Treatment.... I'm guessing that was Dio's doing? Surely he doesn't have sex appeal, right, lol? The fact that Elena got accepted into the Turks, also, just blows my mind. Opposites attract, I guess. 😆

@Glesgeek Yeah maybe Dio really DID give Palmer those perks and who knows how a spoiled brat like Elena got to be a Turk😂

I'm beginning to dislike Scarlet more and more. I have always pondered how Barret lost his arm and I could not, for the life of me, remember how it happened. The fact that Dyne survived that fall is also crazy. He's had all those years to recover but, instead, chose to go down a dark path of hatred and revenge and it changed him. Him going out in a blaze of glory because he didn't want Marlene to see him like that really choked me up. 😢

Yeah, that crime scene was actually shocking and brutal. You don't see many actual human deaths in this game. My money is on Dyne. He has a vendetta, after all, and he has nothing to lose. And, yes, imagine being knocked out and captured by a gangster called Garth, lol. It's embarrassing. 😂

@@gibbs615 To be honest, Aerith was the one I'm glad I got. I have always, throughout the playthrough, referred to her as my girlfriend. Tifa is Cloud's childhood friend. They share a unique bond that he doesn't have with Aerith. That's the way I see it, tbh.

@Glesgeek Well maybe to you but Aerith belongs with Zack and the game's director had already confirmed that Aerith is really just a platonic friend towards Cloud.

I never played Crisis Core so I don't really have any point of reference when it comes to Zack. I only know his history with Aerith based off of what I've seen in this game and the previous one. It is clear, regardless of what the director says, that Aerith has feelings for Cloud. To me, personally, it would have felt weird to romance Tifa. I just feel a natural vibe with Aerith. Again, that's MY thoughts on it. 😉

@Glesgeek Well after this you really need to play Crisis Core Reunion and see their past story for yourself and you'll see what I mean.

@@gibbs615 Yeah, I'm beginning to realize that. Nothing good ever comes from allowing Shinra to do whatever they please. To be honest, even if everyone took Dyne's side and said no to them, they probably would still have built the reactor. And, it's not Barret's fault, as you said. How could he have known it was going to explode? Still, at least we have an explanation for the cold reception. And, my God, the Gold Saucer looks fucking amazing. That Dio is one buff beefcake, lol. 🤣

I figured I would just do the small amount of sidestuff that was in the immediate area. That clears the way for Gold Saucer in the next episode.

Yeah, of all the things that could be wrong with Yuffie, you wouldn't think motion sickness would be one of them, lol. And, you're right. That was a pretty cold reception that Barret received. You don't get that unless you really screwed up. Dr Ed Sheiran healed Tifa, so he's alright in my book, but he does look like a nicer, less crazy version of Hojo, lol. I can understand Cloud's reluctance about giving his blood. It's hard to know who to trust these days, but the doctor does seem to care about the shadowy figures and what it is that ails them. Maybe he could have helped Cloud. Oh well....

@Glesgeek Yuffie really needs to do something about that and Barret definitely screwed up which you'll find out what soon enough. Also Cloud really needs to stop acting so closed off with everybody and just trust whoever's trustworthy enough like Dr. Sheiran.

Yeah, she's actually a lot smarter than I give her credit for. She cares about her people and she's not wrong about Shinra. We have the same enemies, that's why she fits in with the group so well. And yes, that weapon looked incredible. Not sure how or where Yuffie is gonna store that huge materia, though, lol.
