I used to fit those runlocks to Highways Agency vehicles. Good bit of kit if needed.

Noticed that the vehicle didn't sound the horn during the lock unlock cycle with the new key like it did with the original one. Is this a comfort customisation per key. My old BMW allowed different settings for the keys.

Love the door keeper but rivets arent the strongest thing in the world so why not bolt it ?

The tags from the battery are far too small which is why (as you said) they come loose. I just took mine apart & re soldered it. My spare remote key also didn't work but that was just flat... so i put it on top of my cordless phone charger for a day & it started working 👍

Hi there. I’m having a problem with my door. I changed the battery on the cab of my 2011 transit. Ever since the door sounds like it unlocks but it won’t open. It has happened to both front doors but rear doors work fine. Have you any ideas of what might be going on ? Would really appreciate your advice!

How do you get the software taken off for the back doors to let you to unlock the back doors from the drivers door I’ve put a special lock on it be nice to access the back doors or allow me to unlock the vehicle just in case of a controller doesn’t work

On the sliding door lock to prevent pulling the top of the door: Instead of the rod sticking out, just bend the steel plate. One less weld point and more surface area engaging the receiver.

Wish i seen this 2 days ago. Had immobiliser active on my dash screen. The van wouldn't start. Thought it was the battery so split it open to find the battery soildered in. Went to buy a new transponder ring but when i got back i tried my van again with my superglued key and it all of sudden started working after trying it all morning. Worried now that this could happen again when i am out and about. Anyone got had a similar problem.?

What the heck! you guys can get the transit with a manual transmission? It never ceases to amaze me how limited the US car market is now. Hi just watched your video about the transit tough key. I changed my fob just for aesthetics as it was a crew cab and a bit knocked about. Ordered a rep 3 button fob off flee bay changed the board over and because the chip is on the board and not the blade simply took it to my local timsons got the new blade cut to the old blade jobs a good en works perfect. Just for those people on a budget
