150psi at 50 000km not bad
Good engines are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Typically, one cylinder has low compression at around 50K
@JMBM01 I just hit 55000km on mine ill run her u til she quits. Doesn't burn oil so that's a start

I bought a GK71B in 84, They were the very first GSX-R's, before the 750. They were sold new in New Zealand, in local production races they could easily keep up with the hordes of RZ350s and the VF500s and had great handling and brakes as well. A racer i knew was planning on putting a tuned GSX750 engine into a GK71B frame for racing but then Suzuki announced the 85 GSX-R750 so there was no need. This one looks like a 95? love these cradle framed ones.
