If you haven't already, you must put the house in your name, before you apply for medicaid for your mom. You can have some of your aides apply to an agency that accepts medicaid and ask for them. My Mom's best aide made around $16 per hour. She made time and a half for approved overtime and double pay for holidays. She also got paid vacation. But many others who came were really awful....because they were awful. Not because they were getting a bad salary. It was just a job to them and they wanted to sit and do nothing.
