Valentine's longest promo ever?
I had such a crush on Kerry when I was young.
Great clips. Superstar Billy looked unreal in the 70's. He changed pro wrestling forever. Schultz looked like a tough heel. Piper was unreal as a heel. His heel promos were gold.
Bet that was the last time that guy would dare a wrestler Bamm Bamn shoved him into the third row!😂
Channel 44 every Saturday, thanks for posting these great wrestling memories. 😊
Great Memories, every Saturday KBHK Channel 44, Pop, and a whole gang of kids watching Big Time Wrestling. 😄👍 Thanks. 👍
The REAL WARRIORS 10:23
Ox Baker was in Escape From New York!
I think this was around the first Slamboree 93
from what I've heard, some of the clips from these packages were sent in by fans with Jim Ross pleading on his radio show as.much of their early stuff was recorded over or thrown out
"A couple of old ladies knitin' chewing on their snuff or whatever they do, say they don't like me on their T.V." had me rolling!
Ultimate Warrior #2 rassler eh?
I don't remember seeing this in the iron claw movie
The angle is bad because we only see JYD's back, but it looks like the knee didn't even come close to connecting because he was nearly standing straight before it hit him.
Pampero Firpo!!
Who name's their kid Spike?
this is when wrasslin was real
How did the First Match go From Sweet Brown Sugar to KO KO Ware and Rick Morton to Paul Morton as Ref??? Sweet Brown Sugar (Skip Brown) & Ko Ko are 2 Different Wrestlers
Same wrestler. Koko just shaved his head when he joined the first family. Both wrestlers used the SBS name.
Brody & Warrior look like bad CAWs. Lol
I love me some Gary Hart. I can’t believe he worked these matches in his shape.
All those mags behind him during the WM3 spot look super familiar to 14 year old me
whats crazy is, Terry Taylor was just a big star in Mid-south, went to JCP as part of merger that failed and he left after his classic feud with Nikita Koloff to only end up back here before going to WWF as Red Rooster after this. just amazing how Vince destroyed Terry Taylor's cred... IMO
Red river jack??😅😅😅 That's mean mark..oooops I mean the undertaker
9:45. Yikes, Florida. Yikes. There wasn’t even a Kareem Muhammed or Tyree Pride around at that point to fill out the roster?
Needed Hump to fill out a top 10. Yikes indeed. I guess by this time there were not many territories left to do a list.
I always knew WCCW had two different televised shows, one was not at the Sportituam like the other one that we saw here in Chicago
I love stampede wrestling Johnny and Chris Benoit, Maca Singh and JYD junkyard dog 0:42
I love stampede wrestling Johnny and Chris Benoit, Maca Singh and JYD junkyard dog 0:42
I remember one match from this, and i haven't seen it anywhere on UA-cam. Bobby Eaton & Arn Anderson managed by Michael Hayes vs Greg Valentine & Dick Slater managed by Larry Zybyszko.
Haha love it. I’ve never heard of the PWI Magazine videos before. I just subbed.
These were on the Pedocino weekly recap show. Apter also did an interview bit for Crockett, which i assume have been removed from wwe network
Terry Taylor was a good heel.
Watching wrestling on Turner Broadcasting At 6:05pm was so special
Thank you for the great old school wrestling videos! Greatly appreciated!
Nick Gulas looks like a Dick Tracy villain
Everything Ive heard about Taylor was he was an unlikeable guy outside the ring.
This how different things are in wrestling notice these kids going up to the ring gets autographs u cant do that now , u get escort out the building u go near that ring by security😂😂😂
In April 28, 1979, Thunderbolt Patterson once won the CWA World Championship title at the time until he left the territory.
6:45 Boston Crap
The spoiler had 10 ruptured vertebrates after that back body drop.
I didn't know Mike Von Erich could speak that well after his toxic shock. I wish they didn't push him to wrestle after he went through that.
Never knew Terry Taylor appeared on WCCW. Always learning something new and cool.
He was great in UWF/Mid Southern promotions also. I first saw Sting, Ultimate Warrior, Ted Dibiase, One Man Gang, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and many others. WWF/WWE has always grabbed talent from other promotions and made it seem like they (Vince) discovered them by often changing their name and giving them a stupid gimmick. This was the greatest era of wrestling (early-mid 80's).
Bob Sweetan really was a heel. Professionally and personally. Focusing solely on his appearance, he sure looked like a mean b*stard. He was so much worse.
In this current era, guys walk off all the finishers used here. This was from era i started watching wrestling, i loved it. Missile drop kick, flying body press could get a win. Simple moves, now wrestlers can take 2-3 Canadian destroyers before getting pinned. Miss the old simple days.
Gary hart and his infamous specimens miss good wrestling😮
World Class had tons of talent, but the company's ending was just so terrible and very sad.
Kerry was learning how to work on that missing foot
Never knew Wendell Cooley was in this territory
Was this match in 1982, then later broadcast with this commentary over it? Reason I ask, the commentator mention Hulk Hogan as Thinderlips in Rocky 3, which wasn’t released until 1983. Edit: Sorry, my bad. Rocky 3 was released in May of 1982. Duh on me.
Those friggin Von Erich boys got laid more on their way to the ring than I've gotten my entire life 🤬🤬🤬
He couldn't possibly have tapped him any softer on the back with his belt, the RED ROOSTER is soft as hell in the ring!
R.I.P Ernie Ladd and Kamala 🕊️
