Born in Genoa, the Italian soprano Capucine Chiaudani studied singing at the Conservatorio G.B.Martini in Bologna? At the Opernstudio in Zurich,with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf and Maestro Paolo Vaglieri. Professor for Classical Singing at the Kalaidos University Zürich, Capucine gave Masterclasses at the University of the Arts Bern,Swiss Operastudio Biel, the Operastudio Netherland Amsterdam, the Lyric Opera Studio Weimar and the Berlin Opera Academy.She performed in world-renowned opera houses mainly Soprano and Mezzosoprano roles, such as Medea, Tosca, Fedora, Desdemona, Leonora (Forza del destino), Mimi’, Fiordiligi and Despina, Donna Elvira,Alice Ford (Falstaff), Nedda, Flora (Traviata), Gertrude (Hänsel e Gretel), Berta (Barbiere di Siviglia), Laura (Luisa Miller), Maria de Buenos Aires (Piazzolla). Nowadays her biggest passion is to pass her stage experience and know-how on to younger generations of singers

as an opera singer myself, that happens very often to us after we beggin studying bel canto hehe
It is the other way around. Singers' voices start sounding more "operatic" when speaking because of singing technique, because they start breathing better and because of correct placement. It is also a healthier and less tiring way of speaking if you use a bit of your singing technique, because a lot of people use too much their throat muscles and concentrate all their energy there without utilising enough the rest of body involved in sound producing.
@@Mini_Min_ that is definitely not true for male giants like Corelli or Del monoco as I listened to their interviews million times and their speaking voice sounds like a normal person. Could it be different for female sopranos? That I don’t know
