This guy should not have been given a platform to speak, he does not deserve that. The people he killed do not have that privilege, why should he.

I drive for a living and I can honestly say that it still shocks me how many people I see driving while using their phone.

Being on his mobile phone is NOT a mistake! I don’t feel sorry for the driver at all

Let’s be honest, most people in this video or even watching it, use their cellular phone while driving. Everyone just thinks it will never be them. Sometimes it makes you wonder if they’re even worth it.

What I don’t understand is, how many people are taking drugs, for there to be this highly lucrative market? Are all British citizens drug addicts?

i use this road twice a day, and yet see many many people using phones every day rip dog no chance with a truck with all that weight behind it.

This is annoying. You can literally see traffic ahead of you for 100s of meters in a truck. He has no excuse. Only 8 years is disgusting

I'm a lorry driver and would never use my phone whilst driving, even though it's connected to hands free, I always keep any calls to minimum. I see so many people everyday cars lorries and vans using their phone. How urgent can it be to use your phone illegally?

Her parents had a string of paedophiles who would visit the house and pay to abuse the children. They waited 2 days to inform the police she was missing. The 16yo daughter had already run away from home and was living with a man in his 50s. I just passed my HGV and no matter how comfortable I feel at the wheel I’ll never use or answer my phone when driving. It’s not only the lack of concentration it causes for yourself but you could be driving perfectly when on the phone and if someone crashes into you or you’re involved in an accident you didn’t cause you’ll still be the one at fault if they discover you were on your phone. Get a hands free or pull into a lay-by. Nothing is that important that you need to immediately answer.

If mobile phones turned off automatically when they were moving faster then 10 MPH or something this wouldnt happen.

This should be shown to all in schools/colleges/universities, even an advert on television……show everyone the real consequences of using a mobile whilst driving. There is literally NO EXCUSE EVER to need to be using your phone whilst driving. Please stay safe for everyone’s benefit. ❤
