Book cole was legandary. TV Show just want to show everyone from green either dumb or villain

I think many will say book cole, but I actually prefer the show version. He's a man that's clearly out of his depth, and I think everyone can relate to the feeling of rejection, sometimes even a good person who gets rejected can go over the deep end. Sounds dumb but i remember when I was like 15 or something I was playing an MMO and some drama happened in the guild resulting in one of the co-leaders kicking me from it, I talked to the guild master but felt he just wanted to brush it under the rug and move on...I didn't want to I was so mad from feeling like I had been rejected for something so small that wasn't even my fault, it caused something in me to snap and it motivated me to grind super hard to get to a high level and KOS any person from that guild...that anger stayed with me for years, very childish but hey I was kinda a child at some point i forgot what exactly I was mad at and it just became routine...god sounds so 'edgy' and cringe saying it out loud.

Nice video. Just a few counterpoints: - Rhaenyra's claim is being questioned not because her father failed to assure her position, but because he had sons. And if there hadn't been _two_ precedents of a woman who stood higher in the primogenital line of succession being passed over in favor of the eldest male heir-first by the king, second by the realm-there would have been much less opposition to Rhaenyra's claim, if any at all. - Rhaenyra didn't just marry and have heirs. She had two, but they were never supposed to actually inherit the throne according to herself. She bore three(!) obvious bastard children, ruining her own reputation, undermining her own claim, and jeopardizing her own dynasty if those bastards were to success her, because if they had, that dynasty would've be extinguished, or at least their traits. This fact alone doesn't portray her as a particularly thoughtful or intelligent woman. - Rhaenyra is a pathological liar. Regardless if you take the book or the show, she lies to her stepmother, she lies to her father, she lies to everyone, knowing that everyone knows she is lying, but expecting them to believe her lies regardless and lie along with her. She also subjects those who dare to say the truth to execution or worse, and threatens to do that on other occasions. What exactly are the advantages of a reign built on lies and terror? - And Rhaenyra is not the only dragonrider, of course. Her half-brother has a strong bond with his dragon as well, arguably an even stronger one, while Rhaenyra has allowed Syrax (her mount) to become fat, lazy, and pretty much useless when it comes to war.

After the casting of Cregan Stark was announced, I initially suspected it was more along the lines of sexual tension than of brotherhood. But watching the opening scene made me realize it was really about honor and mutual understanding to Rhaenyra's struggle. Although it was never confirmed or mentioned in any of GRRM works, I'd wager that the some of starks knew about the song of ice and fire, just like only a select few targaryens knew as well.

I agree. He was dutiful and honorable despite his cruelty. Better then Aegon. And he was never shown to be a rapist that I recall. Perhaps Aegon should have declined the king as pass it to his brother. I think I might right a fanfic on this. His faction would probably be called the blues.
