Переглядів 742 місяці тому
June 22, 2024 - Wow, it's a hot one outside but we must get this garlic harvested. We got 226 bulbs, planted 235 back in October 2023, I would say that's a pretty good harvest! We've turned the grow room into a storage area now that the Mr Cool mini split is running and keeping the room very cold.

looking great!
Everything looks great! So good that the interplanting is working so well!!
awesome update you guys. Do you feed the hornworms to the chickens?
@toddsmith6316 I find them and Shane takes care of them. I don't know where they go and I don't care lol
Looking great guys! So healthy!
I love your video from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
your right top soil living bacteria dont want to live under after tilling, your destroying the good structure made previously.
lovely plot
are hidden cucumber better than the original seen one ?
So much better! 😊
Great progress!
Great video!! everything looks fabulous!! Was nice to go on a walk thru and see all of your progress. Loved seeing the girls 🐔 in their new home!! The kitties 😺have invaded your "commercial kitchen" 😊
Killer setup, bud. Nice beard, also.
amazing shelves and trays, care to share those? I need that lol my tomatoes are on the ground and hurt my back
I'm using the Botanicare Rack Grow Tray- 2 ft x 4 ft and they fit perfectly into a Wire shelving unit like you'll find at Lowes or Home Depot. I had plenty of left over shelves I'm planning to use elsewhere and just buy the poles separately. www.bghydro.com/hydroponics/plastic-grow-trays/grow-trays/botanicare-rack-grow-tray-2-ft-x-4-ft-black.html www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-6-Tier-Commercial-Grade-Heavy-Duty-Steel-Wire-Shelving-Unit-in-Chrome-48-in-W-x-72-in-H-x-18-in-D-HD18481302PS-1/203846551
What are those white bags lining the pot please? i got the floraflex pots and was worried about clogs , those bags look perfect.
They are 5 gallon paint strainers and work great to keep potting material from circulating back into the reservoir.
@@shillfarms awesome,thank you.
🏞😶🌫️
Love seeing the new setup!
What a beautiful setup! Everything looks fabulous!!
The market is looking good
I have a similar setup, you will likely replace the tubing in the future, because they are transparent they are very prone to algae, if the plants are exposed to several hours of light.
You are absolutely correct :) This year I opted for black vinyl tubing because of the algae build up in the clear. Much better choice
I've also learned the hardway :D@@shillfarms
Where do you get your seeds
I ordered these ones from Amazon and they were ok. We have had much better germination rates with seeds from Johnny's Selected Seeds. a.co/d/bAd0bjz www.johnnyseeds.com/vegetables/microgreens/microgreen-mixes/spicy-micro-mix-microgreen-seed-2567.html
Thank you so much
Suhmohkin!
Kurtyyyyyyy!!!
The set up looks amazing, I can definitely tell that your business/sail is good quality! Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much, Kayden!! ❤
Greetings from UK. I'm thoroughly enjoying following your journey.
Thanks Cliff!! Cheers from Virginia!
That is an excellent idea, Jill!! ...Mumz
I LOVE this time-lapse!! It is amazing how much they move around and grow when the lights are off!!
how are you pumping out the tower garden water to change it?
You can use the pump in the tower garden reservoir and attach the included hose to the top (I think it's 3/4" but can't remember) then pump to a bucket or in my case I have a utility sink. I only have to do this maybe once every few months so it's not a frequent task. You can also use a spare pump attached to a hose and drop it down into the reservoir to empty it out.
Everything is looking GREAT!!
You all are energizer bunnies. 😊
amazing! although your electric bill will warrant a wind and solar farm :)
Love the new grow room!! Yay Drew!! ❤ That was a nice little carrot!!
New grow room looks GREAT!!
Looking forward to what 2023 brings! Always love your videos!!
Great video!! Nice recap of 2022. Good luck in 2023!!
glad you're back!
What brand tent is that?
This is their 5'x9' tent - www.gorillagrowtent.com
@@shillfarms thank you. Those towers really got me intrigued. I love growing as much of my own food as possible and lettuce can be a pain in the ass with slight changes in temperature. Thank you
Man that is exactly what i am needing to build! Good job
Good stuff man!! Im currently thinking about the same style setup..
『p』『r』『o』『m』『o』『s』『m』
Cool stuff Shane/Jill. I have that same size yard. Such an inspiration!
Nice frosty beverage!
Woo hoo! "We're back!"
Glad to see you back Sir Shill! Can't wait to see the rest of the build.
That looks amazing! Where did you get the tent? We want to get one because the led grow lights hurt our eyes
Thanks! We got ours from Gorilla Grow Tent. It's a 5' x 9' tent and has been great so far. Very well built too, would recommend it. Good luck! www.gorillagrowtent.com/products/5x9-grow-tent
"I made a jig" I see a pattern developing.
All that work only took ~5 min?! 🥂🥂
What a team!
4ft in the ground, must be nice sandy ground :)
Looking good
