4 Years later and this video is still the real MVP.
The reason I clicked on the video was to see how you got the hose to attach. Lol and you did that off camera. I guess I just don't have enough strength in my hands
The hose acts as a quick release. Lift up on the black part of the hose on the gauge, then fit into ac line and release. Pull up on black release collar to remove hose from line when finished!
Thanks for this video bro...saved me
I can't hear anything you're mumbling about
You must be deaf can hear him just fine

Appreciate ya big dawg..That air icy now.
Good job 👍
Would this be the same for the rear drivers side window? The motor works I think it just fell off the tracks 😅
I put two in my truck and it’s still not blowing cold. I will try 2 more cans. Thanks.
I know this is an older video but my spouse has the same vehicle. I didn’t want to pay a mechanic to charge the system. Thanks for sharing. She now has colder air again.
Clean truck bro. Looks nice .
Thank you
Short and sweet. Thanks for the help. Have a like and a comment.
Thank you this was very helpful!
I can’t ever get the hookup to seat properly like no matter how I do it the coolant still leaks out and I have the exact same vehicle it’s just frustrating I’ve wasted so many cans trying to get it right
Thanks! My son and I just changed his 11' Juke drivers window motor assembly! His window would not go down at all so had to use a open ended wrench to get the two window track bolts out. Then, with some wiggling to get the new motor/track in, we lowered the new unit, after bolted, put last two window track bolts in with window held half down and done! :)
What Freon are you using
Have you had any issues since
I have a 2011 Escalade and I am having problems cooling it. I have added two cans of coolant or whatever it’s called and it’s still blowing out warm air. I bought another can and going to use your video and see if it will help. There isn’t much difference in the Tahoe and Escalade so I would think they would be the same on this.
You need to take it and have the check engine light code cleared for it to work but if you added to much it will not work
My ac button 🔘 immediately turns off… if I recharge it, will the button 🔘 stay on
Thanks 🤝
Wow so many pieces !
Did u not do the front as well?
Thanks homeboy. Amazing 👏
Uh that's a Catch Can NOT a separator . Oil separators drain the oil back into the engine on their own. Catch cans have to be emnptied.....Good video otherwise.
Ok this is a dumb he did not even show were to hook up the line too
Yea he did its the cap you take off
Got to pull the spare out or your not reaching the inside bolt .... 🙄 just figured that out lol
Filter code?
You are the FKN best! Thks!!
I have an 09 hybrid tahoe and can't find the port. I have a bad feeling it's behind the hybrid system.
I am not sure what this model looks like. The ports should be located near the condenser.
I’m having trouble with the actual installation of the new motor. It seems to get stuck on the window right at the very top and no matter what I do it doesn’t budge to the correct side. Any tips?
I'm not 100% sure what you mean by it getting stuck on the top. My advice would be to pull the glass up all the way to the top of the door. Have someone hold it or use a suction cup to hold it. Then reassess the motor installation. It should bolt in place and then lower the window slowly to line those bolt holes up also.
@@demetrisantonios4589 thx for the reply! Had figured it out about an hour after I commented that. Just needed some extra finesse. Thanks again!
Doing same kit today plus the fronts as well. Not to bad of a job. My tahke was pretty unsafe with bad shocks
Thanks for the video!!
How long did you hold it for ?
5hours
10-15 seconds. After check your gauge.
I didn’t know it hooked up right to the condenser
Is it the same place in a 07?
If it shows the same set up under the hood, I would assume it is.
I have an 2008 Suburban & I’m heading to Auto Zone for a AirPro, thanks 🙏🏻 for the content!!!
Hey thanks for the help w/ the A/C in my Tahoe. I’m a former fat ass. I’ve lost about 100 lbs and I’m trying to bulk up a little bit. I have zero knowledge about what I should be doing for muscle gains. Any help would be appreciated.
I have a yukon denali. And I was second guessing that myself about the low pressure port being that cylinder but your video cleared that up. Thanks bro!
I have the exact same story. Same year and bought outright in October. I’m going to go try this now. Thank you for the video!
Wey hasta aqui me llego el frio.
Jajajajaja
Thanks for the video man!
Thanks bro I have an Escalade and this was really helpful
What’s the correct psi
Following.!
Should have it on the gauge. Mine was good between 40 and 60 when the ac clutch kicks on
How many cans ?
@@danielchaidez151 I bought 2 cans
Your better off buying 30 pound cans . Anyone can get one , I pad 120 dollars for 30 pounds and gauge set. All you have to do is e sign a agreement that you will not resale freon. If I can do it, you can do it. You can get a ton of fills or charge up on 30 piunds!!!( I have no ac licenses)
THANK YOU!!!!
THANK YOU!! Helped me score some honey do points fixing my wifes window.

You're welcome. Just trying to help people save money and DIY
How did the Suncore shocks work out for the Tahoe? I’ve got the same problem.
How did the rear shocks work out for the Tahoe?
They still work great. Haven't towed with them yet so can't review that. They still work good on the highway. I never installed the resistors so I still get the service code on the dash. I just clear it out by dash buttons.
Thanks for this vid!! It really helped
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!
No problem!
