    Your lawn tractor has a hydrostatic transmission doing this will burn it up. If you want something like this you need a garden tractor thats built to handel the stress a tiller on the back will give it. Or something old that has a gear shift type transmission. Your about to cost yourself a lot of hardace.

    Those green machines are good tractors but everything is expensive for them we had one about 10 years ago it was an 48 inch deck and every year the deck belt went bad it was 60 dollars then I'd hate to price one these days.

    I did mine a lot like that. I had a part time job in town before I retired. Every month I would buy either two marine batteries down at the AutoZone, or a couple of solar panels. Well they would be out of the ones I had got the last time so I would get different panels. I wound up with seven different sizes of panels, I have sixteen. I bought them in pairs for 24 volts. There's six different brands of panels. One panel got broken from wind. So I started putting frames around each pair out of square pipe. The first one was kind of heavy, so I went to a smaller size pipe. I just bought whatever was on sale. The last two were the same thing as the two before, except they had went up ten bucks for two of them. I used twenty big marine batteries. One went bad, had to change it a few months ago. I used a 40 amp 4215 BN controller. I had to save up for three months to get my inverter. I used an Aims Power inverter charger, 24 volts, 2000 watts. I'm in the wrong spot for solar panels. I'm on the North East side of the barn so there's shade after 5 o clock. So I ran four of the panels out North on a longer wire so they don't get shaded. Then there's four on the West side and eight on the East side. The two on the North side can face either way so I have 1200 watts of panels facing the 🌞 Sun in the morning. Then in the afternoon I flip them around, that gives me 800 watts facing West in the evening. It has been hot 🥵 and humid here so I had to get a little air conditioner. I ran it for awhile earlier today. It takes around 29 amps going into the batteries to keep the voltage from dropping with the air on. I had just enough solar panels to run it until the Canadian smoke started drifting in, so a couple of weeks ago I got the last two. My controller can't take any more. With all the panels out on a clear sunny day I get 1030 watts. The controller maximum is 1040. Everything drops when it all gets hot weather. Doesn't matter how much the panels put out, the wires going to them get hot and lose watts in the summer. You'll find out. I added a 600 watts wind generator in March. They sent me a 12 volts one. I had ordered a 24 volts one but I use it anyway. Sometimes it makes enough for 24 volts. It doesn't make a great amount of power but it makes it when the sun didn't shine, most of the times. So it has helped keep the battery voltage ⚡ up when it would have been down. These batteries are about two and a half years old, still doing pretty well. I have to check the cells and I got a pint of acid to equalize with. I want to get them ready for the heat wave next week when it gets over 100 degrees. I pieced mine together, took about two years. It's working now but it's a temporary setup. If I get it where I can get all my panels out in the Sun 🌞later on, I'll have a lot more energy from the solar panels. They'll probably look crazy, all different sizes...

      What type of rabbits do you have. These are Texas A&M rabbits and to me they are glorified New Zealand which I have raised for over sixty years. Doe weights a little over fifteen pounds and the buck is almost the same. Sure do like these new rabbit tractors I design and no longer have to clean the poop. What a blessing.

    Hey Michael. Sorry to see this video, but I totaaly agree with what you are saying. Unfortunately there are people out there that feel they have the right to tell you what to do and put you down if they don't like something. Clearly you are very upset about these unthinking idiots. I know that this is easier said than done but simply ignore and delete negative or trolling comments. (There you go, I am telling you what to do! LOL) But seriously, I am sorry that they have had such an impact with their negativity. Sorry to hear about Cash, he did seem a bit of a handful, I had a dog, Ellie, a rescue dog , German Shepherd, that used to full on attack me if she felt threatened, she had come from a very abusive home, I have many scars from her attacks. People used to tell me that I should kill her before she killed me, one 'friend' even said he was coming to kill her with a brick. The outcome for me was different, I am an ex RAF police dog handler and instructor so I just resolved to work with her and finally it worked out, but every situation is different, I totaly respect your decision re: Cash, there is nothing more frustrating and exhausting than having to deal with a repeat 'offender'. Look after yourself mate, take care, have a coffee and a smoke and just laugh at the small minded idiots :-) (or send em to me and we can really see them lose it! LOL)

    Michael, NOT fibreglass it will melt and burn and give off fumes. Use Rockwool, which is sppun stone fibre, it will resist temperatures up to 1500C and, if you try it the same way and fill up and opencontainer it will burn the samne way as the paper towels, my stoves were two cans with holes that were sealed (look for coke can stove)

  • @the-nomad
    @the-nomad Рік тому

    That fuel is a bit close to the stove!

  • @the-nomad
    @the-nomad Рік тому

    LOL, this is why I use ROckwool, it's like an unburnablke sponge so, if it falls over then fuel doesn't spill out everywhere! 😀

    I used to fill my stoves with Rockwool so that if they were knocked over the fuel would stay in the Rockwool. I also use a Ghillie kettle at camp, itholds 1.8 litres of water and will boil that just as fast as any electric kettle using twigs and small sticks. Hey, hope your flag doesn't fly away!
