@@user-yf9ul3iv9l Yes I found out later, For some reason the laptop dropped the usb signal from the Audio input device, It was showing on the computer, sound going into the Audio device. But OBS dropped the input signal for some bezoar reason, and the chat was not updating lol So my apologies to you! technical gremlins do pop up sometimes I guess. I will do a live stream again next week as a compensation. I do however still have the audio recording, so will try download the stream and add the audio file and re-upload the mix perhaps…. Thank for your feedback, yes have to work out how to do that in post-production, As when Im recording via the iPhone, you can't see the changes on the screen, as this is above the shot. I do use a lapel mic,. However this was a quick video for someone on facebook..

@@dopeNL you must not enter the input in of your sample as loudly, it is better to stay much lower and normalize the sample entirely before cutting it already

@@salix5380 Hi and thanks for your input. However having been sampling for over 30 years, Its not to hot of a signal, and your better to get the signal hot as possible when sampling pre-mixed music/vocals etc. And as if you recorded in the manner you mention then normalises the sound, will also bring up all the background/ unwanted noise. you are always better to get a good signal to noise ratio when sampling and Personally I don’t always normalise a sample due to how normalisation actually works. Good point, but not reliable or relevant. Also being in the academy of music, I never teach my students to work like that. As you can always get into unwanted processing, that would not be required if you get a good signal in the first instance. Cheer for watching and your comment.

I got the boots as 120’s separately from everything else, and built them myself :•) Hence why I have different plates than the uptowns I think :•) The boots alone cost me 240€ The plates €200, :•) I think the uptowns are around $189 ?? Edit… Actually the uptowns are 120’s according to the riedel website. @@magicizaproblem From my knowledge there is no direct way to stop the sequencer from looping, unless you do a trick in song mode. Ie you want the current song, loop to go for four loops then stop. You can duplicate the song to the next sequence, then after 3 plays of the current song go to the next that then doesn’t loop and stops.after t it completed its cycle. More of a work around. As I don’t know if you can map the sequence loop to a Q link to disable the loop. is also another way to do it. Q link learn, then toggle the sequence loop.

@@dopeNL thanks alot. I tried the q link route sequencer controls dont map....i just find it crazy that i have to touch the screen to turn the loop on/off it throws off a great workflow i had without touching the screen ill work around it. Thanks again!

yes can be quite frustrating, I will have to check if it has been solved in the new update. However,, I try not to use the MPC these days due to being fed up with how it behaves!

Hi and thanks for watching :•) umm 🤔 Well you can also double tap the bank buttons for banks e f g h, Or simply hold the shift button to switch banks. I normally double tap the bank buttons. However as far as I am aware of there is no way to increase the shift lock time. I think you can also hold the shift button for 5 secs to enable shift lock. I think 🤔

@@dopeNL yea i want to turn it off and it not auto switch off....thats what i want though not how it is. Not a huge issue just would be nice.

You can also enable a function in preferences to make the MPC Banks Stay in E,F,G,H :•) Handy. But still no actual shift lock enable,

Hi 👋 and thanks for watching. As of yet AKAI haven’t solved this yet. (due to now updates) However 22nd June is supposed to be the new update release. So fingers crossed they have fixed it. I also sent a big list of bugs to AKAI and it was “apparently” Sent on to the developers. So we shall see. Cheers dopeNL

@@janvandeweyer3272 OHH :•) Still haven't full been using the MPC with the new 2.11 Update, However I have notice my MPC downloaded a new 2.11.2.2 Version today. It docent tell you what was fixed, But something was. Remember you can always go back to an older AKAI-OS via a Firmware downgrade. Same way as you would up-grade, via system settings. If I find bugs I shall report and film them also :•)

@@dopeNL Thanx bro, I did a long search but nobody could tell me what was fixed in 2.11.2...but the existing bugs are still there, so at least we know they are not fixed :)

@@janvandeweyer3272 Think it was only a Fix for the splice bugs 🐛 That failed to work. I will have to take a good look 👀 and see if the other bugs are still present and see if I can replicate them… Next video :•)
