@@incanada83 excellent comment...thanks to share with us..about bobbins, it is class 15, plastic or metal. It has low shank, means you can use a lot of presser feet .you havea supernice machine....God bless you!!

@@luzbrillante7090 Thank you very much! But...I beg to differ about using metal bobbins on this machine. Sure, they will work, but they heat up with long continuous sewing project, and will warp the "plastic" surrounding where the bobbin spoon is sitting in. Also, metal bobbins can disrupt and damage this (or any) computerized sewing machine. I was told that by the service man when I used to take it for regular service back when Sears existed. Boy! Do I miss that store 😞. Now, If I want to take it to have is serviced, it's 4 hours drive. Ugh.

Y ahora a tu pregunta del hilo del bobin no sube o la aguja no lo atrapa...revisa q colocaste bien el bobin y que pasa por el 1 y 2..casi no se ven..lo otro puede ser q te saltaste un paso del enhebrado del hilo de arriba..y entonces no hay tension..me paso hoy precisamente..chequea y nos cuentas..vale?...Dios te bendiga con este bello hobby!!!

@@helenwalsh9217 hi Helen , excellent..don't give up, I got my machine in the same condition...just way..first take of the rush with alcohol (just drops use hand sanitizing), after this you can put just drops of oil and gives it every day a warning hair dry..(2 ,3 minutes) , the same time move the wheel a little ,and cover with a plastic bags in a warm room.I have some videos in the channel , checking .This machines are for 20 years or more without use, so I always recommend guys no use screwdriver until you try to wake up this beautiful vintage..and the most important God Almighty always help us !!!

@@luzbrillante7090 Everything is moving the way it should, BUT the selection knob for the specialty stitches and cams is totally not moving. I have done all that you mentioned for several days and all knobs are working except this one. I can't get the the area behind the knob unless I take the handwheel and side panel off or take the motor off and get to the mechanism from underneath. It's looking like I have to do one or the other. I do thank you for your video. I could not figure out the pressure foot until I watched your video. You are the only person who showed this. Even the owners manual was of no help.

@@luzbrillante7090 Thank you again. I have the machine working!!!!!!! Today I needed to go back to your videos to find out how to work the cams. That was my final test on this machine. I was concerned because it was going in reverse and after watching your video I can see the machine isn't broken I just had to change the settings. I have to say the owner's manual is terrible. No instructions as to where the settings should be. So, thank you again.

@@marykircher hi Marykircher , thanks for the positive comment, about the feed dog should be in up position ..do you have the owner manual ?..if not checking this link below: www.manualslib.com/manual/85647/Kenmore-1430.html?page=19#manual Now, if you have the feed dog up..and continue it are down...follow the bar connection the control of feed dog with the part you already move up and down..it is move?..if no a little oil..and hair dryer is the key!..I did in some machines and I have videos on my channel ..because sometimes they are frozen..please do not try to take any screw..and let us know if you get it please..in God is hands!!

@@marioleal4445 ,hola Mario, excellent maquina, q bendicion q te la regalaron.. estas maquinas tienen los dos botones al frente derecho...revisa q el boton de abajo no este en ojales..(la figurita con un ojal), suscribate al canal y buscas los tutoriales q les tengo en español de esta Kenmore 1802, entonces practica con los videos..y nos cuentas si lo logras porfis..Dios te bendiga con este bonito hobby!!

@@luceromolina2553 ,hola lucero, les deje en la descripcion del video el enlace para q vean el manual de instrucciones gratis, (esta en Ingles)..pero nos sirven los dibujos..en la pag 24 muestran que para rollito (Rolling hemming) debes cambiar el plato de aguja , el prensatela y dejas unicamente la aguja izquierda. La tension del bajo(hilo de la derecha) underlooper de 6 a 8, el alto o overlooper 0 a 2, aguja tension 4, esas tensiones pueden variar de acuerdo a la tela..baja la cuchilla superior, y ajusta el largo a 2mm mira el dibujo pagina 17 (pitch)..ahora practica...parece un poquis complicado pero cuando lo practicas se te hara mas sencillo, y siempre con Dios q nos ayuda con este bonito hobby!!

El manual esta en Ingles pero puedes ver los dibujos , en la pagina 26 ,parte superior dice Zig zag y abajo settings, para hacer zigzag . Pero te sugiero q busques en mi canal ,estoy segura q les explique como manejar esta maquina o una parecida. Despues de operarla vas a ver q es sencillo. Dios te bendiga con este hermoso hobby

@@chrisycecycardenoso6467 hola Chrisy, porfis no te angusties...como me gustaria estar cerca y ver q pasa..pero bueno, primero en manos de Dios, ya viste el manual?...si el hilo no coge el hilo del bobin, verifica :enhebrado q pase por todos los puntos, revisa la aguja, el bobin y la puesta del bobin es fundamental...hay veces son cositas tan sencillas q no nos dejan coser..porfis busca en el canal...hay varios videos de como funcionan estas maquinas, si no hay el mismo modelo hay otros modelos parecidos..Dios nos ayuda

@@arelieuniceluqueruelas3849 hola Arelieunice, asegurate primero q ubicaste el boton de ancho de puntada, y colocalo en el 3 o 4, (debes utilizar el prensatela de zigzag o para todo uso), si no te hace zigzag entoces es la barra de la aguja , con el dedo indice mueve la barra donde se sujeta la aguja y suavemente mira si se mueve, si no se mueve te sugeriria q te suscribas al canal y busca los videos porque mi maqukna no hace zigzag..oos de mantenimiento ,como limpiar ,aceitar la maquina de coser, en muchos casos, solo necesitamos secador de cabello...si secador de cabello, esto con el fin de destrabarla, ya q estas maquinas q son tan buenas, pero si no se mantienen se pueden atascar..revisa y me cuentas si te sirvio. @@MiriamChavez-y4f hola amigo, revisa si tiene el resorte, y en la parte de arriba esta un pequeña barra negra que es la q hace q el tubo plastico baje..mira en el video y pausa, continua y pausa.. asi podras ver q esa barrita va bajando...si no lo hace es q no esta en el carril..suavemente se va ajustando..es paciencia y si quieres coloca un poquito de grasa..les he mostrado en los videos...a mi me funciona la "tri flow", grasa sintetica, pero si tienes otra q sea sintetica usala y vas haciendo el ejercicio, ademas en algunos videos les he mostrado q cuando la maquina esta muy frenada (cualquier parte) secador de cabello ,un minutico y ensaya de nuevo..espero esto te sirva, y lo mas importante encomendados a Dios q nos da paciencia y nos ayuda en todo.

Hay veces quisiera ser mas puntual ,pero algunas veces mis queridos suscritores me hacen varias preguntas como esta q tu haces y debo ir despacio...el enhebrado es fundamental para q la maquina funcione bien, espero te sirva y tambien q seas una de mis suscritoras y chequea los videos de como hacer ojales, utilizar los discos y mas...Dios te bendiga

@@ramanabulusu4175 hi Raman, no special reason for show the ring, your question is really good, thanks God I don't have problem with static , I trying to made videos how to fixed the machines when dealers not doing .But the first thing I do when I made this surgeries on machines is unplug the machine. The other thing is checking if your outlets are grounded by ground tester, it is around $5 dollars. If the house is to dry (winter)use humidifier. And I realized there are some clothes that create more electricity and even my hair get messy 🙃, so avoid use it. I never go around without a comfortable rubber bottom shoes, socks or without socks. I clean regularly floor (vacuum) and machines with a dry microfiber cloth..or if the machines are really dirty use a all purpose clean first (just a little outside in covers)and dry after very well..., and first of all I pray to God and also pray for you guys and bless all of you in your house.
