Question Time - Season Wrap Up - EP5
Welcome to the final episode of the Walk & Talk Series 1. However this episode is a little different from the rest and here's why.
After filming each episode, we asked our guests a set of questions about their mental health to see if we could spot any patterns, or similarities in their answers. Although they each have different stories, the outcome was incredible. Here were those questions:
1) What did depression and anxiety look like for you?
2) How did you overcome your darkest moments?
3) What advice would you give to someone struggling with their mental health?
4) If you were stuck on an island, what 3 things would you take with you and why?
We hope from this episode that you're able to find value in knowing that you are never alone, there is always a way out, things do get better.
Thank you to all of our incredible guests who were so open, and honest about the most vulnerable areas of their lives. We know you've had a huge impact on some of our audience already.
A special thank you to the whole Walk & Talk Team:
Andrew Johnson (Lead Videographer)
Laura Prada (Videographer)
Jamie Morling (Videographer)
Brad Gartland (Co-Founder)
Daniel Wilsher (Founder)

We had an idea. An idea to change the way we view mental health. 3 months down the line we've built a team of 5, our content is ready, and we've launched across Social Media (@walkandtalkseries). In society, sometimes it can feel like you need to own a business or be financially wealthy to have a 'credible' voice on social media. And as much as the advice of a millionaire or top athlete is very...
Been though so much, Danny great to hear your story doing great things mate. 👏 Brad aswell followed you both for a while.
Amazing, now watched both episodes. Help me grown in supporting younger male learners
Looking forward to hear Daniel's story!
You can't be making me wait until 12am for a new episode 😭
Thank you for taking the time and putting in the effort to normalise these kinds of conversations. I find this really inspiring and I cannot wait to see future episodes.
Very pleased that you found inspiration in this episode! And that's one of our key aims, to show people how normal these (normal) conversations can look. This truly means the world to us. Thank you Danny!
You are a truly amazing person Brad 💙💙
He definitely is!
Great first episode - looking forward to the rest of the series! Thank you Brad for sharing your story and giving us insight into how you’ve dealt with such a difficult time and challenging situations, the circle of influence is a powerful thing, people often focus on factors outside of their control instead of looking at the things they can do and can control to have a positive impact on their mental well-being and this is something that resonated with me massively! Keep doing what you’re doing, it is making a difference.
Really pleased this was powerful for you! There were so many key points of advice, but that was definitely one of the ones that stood out the most. You can see just how much of an impact that's had on his ability to be able to support his wellbeing. Valuable stuff! Thank you for the feedback and kind words!
Loved this, can't wait for the next episode!
Thank you all your support Tarek, doesn't go unnoticed!
Brilliant. Thank you.
Thank you for watching!
