Kaisi Quality hai Eyepiece ka Review Dalo…
Quality bahoot acchi hai. High end eyepiece hai
Look nice 👍🙂
hello sir 🎉 curently i am working on mirror polishing but one thing i notice my edge of the mirror in not getting polished why? i did polishing for about 7 hours still egde portion is untouched by lap but contact is very well between mirror and tool I am using full size lap so can you please tell why my mirror is not polised at the edge??
There could be several reasons. 1. You may have not done the fine grinding completely so the edge is more rough and not getting polished. 2. Your mirror is turned down. 3. Even for full size lap, don’t trim and bevel the lap edge. Let it be as big as mirror. If this won’t improve the polish then you have to go back to fine grinding. 4. You may be using longer strokes for polish. Keep it within 1/3 CoC so edge gets more polishing action.
@astrokhan i thinks 3,4 is more relatabale if both dont help then i need to fine grind again. beacause i test properly for pits and roughness before start polishing
looks super ✌✌
Is this a raw image or staking
raw image is very viberating or turbulant so its during stacking (i think)
It is the original raw video. Later it was used to stack and make the final photo.
sir what is minimum magnification to look for jupiter bands and saturn ring?? this vidoe looks like as it captured at near red or infrared specturum but looks clean bands . is its from your home made telescope or ready made?
@@abhayprasad6372 for me, the best view for Jupiter and Saturn is above 100x. I sometimes go over 200x. These high magnifications gives best view of bands and rings. This is taken with my homemade 6” F/8 telescope. The video is taken with an ASI120 MM camera which is a mono or black & white camera. Mono camera are known for high sensitivity than color one.
@@astrokhan Ooook your homemade telescope is as similar /good as company made telescope.
@@astrokhan can we made homemade small lenses for eyepeice making as we make the primary mirror? if yes then why ameture generally dont make their own lenses ? i never saw any ameture who makes lenses neither on youtube / google articles why??
@@abhayprasad6372 yes you can make lenses. The answer why not many amateurs do that is because the efforts required. Still I don’t consider making the lenses complex. It’s probably people are too busy or too lazy to take it up as a project.
@@astrokhan ooookkk your very very thanks sir for answering me🙏🏻🙏🏻
hello sir, is this telescope made by you? and what happens to your 8 inch and 12 inch mirrors which you made in previous videos? is both telescopes ready?

hello sir . aapne mirror polishing ke liye kon sa Cerium oxide use kiye they. Optical grade ya normal windsheld polishing wala avialable on amzon around 200 300 rs wala??
@@superfastathletechallengen4216 windshield polish wala bhi use kar sakte hain non precision optical polish ke liye. Usko use karne se pahle water suspension and siphoning method se 3 baar filter kar ke use karo. Mix in water bottle and then let it settle for a minute. Transfer 80% into another bottle using siphon method without disturbing bottom sediment. Do this 2 times more and you will have good quality mixture to polish the mirror. Large mirrors and finest quality ke liye optical grade use karna padega.
@@astrokhan ook . Aur maine suna hai ki Rouge/ferric oxide bhi log use krte hai, finest quality polishing and Figuring ke liye. to kya Aapne kabhi rouge use kiya hai? aur agar hum Rouge ki dirtyness and polishing speed ko neglect kare tb rouge ki polishing performence/finishing Quality kaisi hoti hai? beacuse i am using rouge its really very slow 😀 stallafane suggests Rouge is 2-3x slower then cerrium. but better finishing. aapka bhi koi practicle experience Rouge ke sath hai to please share...
@@superfastathletechallengen4216 maine rouge use kiya hai par main uska use suggest nahin karoonga kyonki pahla to required nahin hai, doosra us se fine sleeks aa jati hai glass pe. Sleeks normal eye se nahin dekhega but Foucault test main dikhta hai. Bahut log smooth surface ke liye use karte hain par jaisa maine kaha ki utna required nahin hai aur sleeks/scratch ke possibility rahti hai. Time vs effort ke hisab se optimal nahin hai. But nothing to stop if you want to use it. You can see the mirror image with sleek on this page of my site: astrokhan.wordpress.com/2020/12/10/re-grinding/
@@astrokhan its too much scratches
@@superfastathletechallengen4216 that’s why I don’t suggest using rouge. You have to be very careful.

how did you make a focuser? do you have a guide to give me about the focuser and the entire telescope? Thanks
Hi Gaetano Bruno, please check my website astrokhan.wordpress.com/ where I have documented how I made this telescope. If you go down on the landing page, you will see several pages listed for the individual items including one for the focuser. Here is the link for the focuser page astrokhan.wordpress.com/home-2/assembling/diy-focuser/. It was made using a plumbing part called "Tank Connector" in India. Not sure if it is available in your country. You may however find a similar something in your country.
I (Optical Test Engineer) have used this kind of method for making 6 to 16 inches of Primary mirror and I have developed easy use instrument to evalvete PM of telescope for fine scratches, deep scratches, smoothenes of primary mirror surface, Parabolic or Sperical surface, turned down or Turned up edge, Faucoult shadow test can be found.
@@jayantibhaichauhan56 good to know sir. Where are you located?
@@astrokhan Yes, I am in California USA. Your mirror Center is over corrected and had turned down edge very little , need little more correction, this is use full for manufacturing called parabolizing mirror with six variable to control, Pitch hardness, Tempeture, pressure on tool, Stroke and speed of the table, Quality of pitch tool(contact and mesh on tool), Your Own Mood if wopprking by hand. @@jayantibhaichauhan56 thank you sir for your appreciation 🙏 I hope to complete this mirror soon. Kindly also have a look at my blog site astrokhan.com
so nicee! could you share more abt your experience with it? i want to buy a similiar one of yours and i would like to see some dso objects so if you can show more of your experienc it would be good 😊
and srry if my english looks back because im learning xd
Ryan, Thank you. Please check the videos of the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn on my channel to understand the quality of this scope. I get good sharp views with this. For DSO, I suggest you get at least an 8 or 10 inch scope that is portable. You will never be satisfied with the size of any telescope and always want to buy bigger ones but please note that bigger telescopes are heavy and not much usable due to the size. The best telescope is the one you use as much and easily carry around. You may also like to check my blog astrokhan.wordpress.com to learn about telescope making. And your English is good.
Great Video, What LED did you use?
Thank you!. The LED used if the one comes as bare LED strips. I later upgraded the tester to use a 10mm green one.

If edges are bent how to correct it..
For TDE, reduce the polishing stroke length. Slight TUE is corrected during parabolizing.

Did you use dental cement or normal white cement
For this, I used normal white cement.
@@astrokhan I have made 12 inch tool , using glass pieces of 1.5 square inch. but for polishing i didn't get pitch resin , instead i will use bitumen tool, any suggestion for bitumen tool making.
@@MrBhujbalgv bitumen will work however it may be softer than the desired pitch hardness. Anyway please try as many have used it successfully. Just make sure to get a clean piece for melting as any impurity will scratch the mirror.

8 mm telescope secondary mirror 40mm can do ?
It would be too big for the same size primary mirror. Use a small secondary as much possible.
Sorry 8in mirror
@@artsandpapermodel8393 ok. Yes, you can use 40mm secondary for an 8 inch mirror if you have a low height focuser.

I can use white cement for pitch lap base
Yes, white cement works as well. Just cure it completely before use. See my other video of 12 inch tool making with white cement

Where to buy teflon
You can get teflon sheet from industrial supply hardware stores. In case you don't have that in your city, then try using plumbing teflon tape. You can wrap a few layers of it on a plastic piece of desired thickness. It will work well
Thanks ❤
How much magnification it will give if it fits on Vanguard endeavour hd 82 A spotting scope??
Vanguard didn't list the objective focal length in their specs. However based on the objective size of 82mm and scope size, it may have a FL of 300 mm. Based on this assumption, you will get approx 43x magnification with this eyepiece (300/7).
Can this eyepiece fit to Vanguard Endeavour HD 82 A spotting scope??the standard eyepiece has 1.25 inch diameter and this one also the same so please suggest
It also has 1.25 inch diameter so it should fit in Vanguard. However I looked at the specs and see that Vanguard has a Bayonet type mount for eyepiece so I am not sure how you would be able to secure this eyepiece (Pentax) with the Vanguard eyepiece mount
@@astrokhan I checked that bayonet mount bhas screws so they can be removed and and 1.25 tube can be fitted there just need to do some extra work like around where eyepiece fits there are threads so step up ring will help to secure eyepiece.
