I practiced along with you, thankfully the Gojira X plugin has a pitch shifter XD A bit of a tongue twister riff, I found it quite easy to mix up some of the sections.

hello fellow londoner. I was expecting something more from this video as this riff is insanely simple. if you want "the HARDEST guitar riff ever", a good start to that challenge would be the riff from meshuggah - bleed. it's basically a riff which is very deceptive in it's difficulty as all you do is basically play one note (kinda). at first that might sound simple enough... but the picking patterns change depending on the section of the song and the picking patterns at the speed in which you have to play it at is just brain melting, you will struggle to keep up, it's basically an extreme picking exercise throughout the entire song and is 10x harder than this riff. I'm not hating btw, just saying I could list a large number of much more challenging riffs. it was still a fun video to watch and with that in mind... why not turn this into a little series?
