Great video. I finally understand the difference between blades and combs. I'm thinking for a home groomer with a single dog, then a clipper with a size 10 blades and a set of combs would be sufficient?

Having him lay down is definitely helpful, but they also need to learn to stand when getting groomed so you can clip the base of the tail and tidy up their hind end..

Wouldn't you need to add the length the blade cuts to the comb length? For example a wahl 10 blade cuts 1.8mm on its own, combine it with a number 2 comb which cuts 6mm wouldn't the final length be 7.8mm? Or if the number 2 comb is combined with an andis 30 blade which cuts 0.5mm wouldn't the final length be 6 + 0.5mm = 6.5mm So what im asking is does the blade size under the comb change the final length like the examples above 7.8mm vs 6.5mm?

I have a Lhasa apso with similar ear shape but she has longer hairs coming out of the inside of her ears. Is it alright to trim those or will that cause more itching.

Thank you. I got this dryer, but my doodles are extremely afraid of it. I just let them get used to the loud sound, so I turn it on when we come from outside to dry my shoes ... 😅. Yes, peanut butter is their absolute favorite treat. I will try in a few days 😅 This Petdryer is awesome!

i find it very difficult listening to videos by Australians with the constant high intonation they use at the end of every sentence. As though every statement is a question. very irritating to listen to. sweet dog and sweet video otherwise, even if it didnt teach anything other than wet dog and apply shampoo before rinsing lol.

This is what our Mica looks like... her DNA said she was a "Cavapoo" but all the pictures of those look different. When I search "Cavoodle" I see our dog. <3

Great info thank you, new fur mom to a Labradoodle and boy is he fluffy, I just spent 30 minutes detangling his hiney and cleaning his bum and Im looking forward to shaving that area so he doesnt consistently get detangled and hav poo stuck.
