Hello Ken, I just happened upon your video while searching for install instructions for 2-piece rotors. I didn't install my EBC rotors the other day because the instructions got into something about run-out and using a gauge to verify this, so I just postponed. I didn't want to get stuck at the track with a rotor problem. The car did fine with the old rotors, which was good. So in watching your video I'm not seeing anything about run-out, or measuring. I'm assuming that's not anything to be concerned about, especially since my set came with hats and rotors already assembled (?). In any case, it was a pleasant surprise to see that this video was one of yours! I'll let you know how the new rotors do when I get them installed (before my next event in mid-February). Best, Ken M

I believe I figured out some of this. The front is what it is. The rear, however, is different, which figured out after a bunch of research. You can use the old rear 316x20 rotors and the old rear 2-pot calipers and just bolt them right on. Calipers from a 15-17 WRX, 8-10 STI, and 12-17 STI and 15-17 base STI. LR 26692FG030 (old is 26692FG031) and RR 26692FG021 (old is 26692FG020). Get off RockAuto. don't need STI branded calipers. Mind you that these are reman or new, but IDK about the temp rating of the seals used. One very important aspect of this is the the rear rotors inner diameter for the parking brake for manual parking brake is 190mm. Rock Auto has them. Take your pick. Also, upgrading to the 19-21 STI 6 pot goes up to 340mm, if you really wanted. Flatorins has them. change the F knuckles and they just bolt right on.

Why the staggered setup? That's what I don't know.

Watched this again and realized that the caliper itself wasn't drained of the old fluid and filled with the new stuff. For this to be completely effective, I believe one needs to do a complete flush, including the calipers.

Why do they use metallic pads still?My 2018 Camaro ZL1 had metallic pads and I changed them to ceramic. I would clean the wheels and in 5 minutes they were dusty from brake dust. I don’t get much dust with the ceramic pads.The pads on my ZL1 are easy to change with the pins. I love the blue C8 it’s beautiful 💎

So the DBAs are a touch heavier. What is the advantage over OEM?

same as DBA 4000 series. Way better than the stuff you get at Auto zone, exct. Track rated for repeated high heat cycles! The only rotor to get this side of 2 piece high end and expensive track rotors!

I bought my 2019 stinger with 2000 miles on it and developed vibration after the first hard braking I performed. Changed the pads and turned rotors. Changed pads and rotors…. Wi ration within 200 miles. I think it’s a design issue which I’m hoping your brake pads solve

I've seen others say you need to clean the rotors with soap and water prior to install. It doesn't seem you do that, I presume it is unnecessary?

Is there no difference between changing fluid on a vehicle with ABS vs without?

You forgot about putting it in service mode and if you don’t it can mess it up down the line. I fucked mine had to buy a new caliper and get it all recalibrated .

This is why if the company has the option, you pick Pre-bedded pads (Carbotech, GLOC brake pads has this option). From what I understand, if you use brand new rotors, there will initially be a few laps where your car will just naturally transfer materials to the new rotor. Then mid day when You and your car are all warmed up, the rotors are also bedded. The tricky part is getting your Track pads bedded as they are normally only going to bed at high temperatures. Therefore, Go for the Pre-bed option and don't gamble on screwing up (even though technically it isn't a hard process). - New Rotors bed naturally with use. If you are in actual racing and not for hobby, have the rotors pre-bedded for maximum reliability and consistency. - If you use Old rotors, it is recommended to clean them up with a sander and 80-50 grit sandpaper with brake clean. Then use your brake bad of choice to prevent material contamination mix. - Brake pads (track pads) need high temperature to start bedding process of the brake pad itself. The resins in it need to be burned off.

What year or model when searching for front calipers z32 on rock auto? All I can find is 95 300 ZX and the have raise Nissan logo am I missing something because I don’t see the raiders Nissan logo on your calipers in the video.

What corner would you start in to bleed all the brakes?
