I see this in my UA-cam suggestions after watching a vampire movie. Good storyline on how it may be for a vampire. I really like the scene in the kitchen of the main character's brief appearance. I love vampires and werewolves. Thank you for posting. Date Stamp: 08mar21

Surprisingly good. What I think you are absolutely doing right here is showing not telling. You kept the dialog minimum and I like that. I like your method of framing the story in the editing of snapshots, and I liked the track. Beautiful ending dawn shot. Liked the shot of her sitting alone next to an empty chair. That brings the loss home in a way more people can relate to. A criticism: Even though the scenes with the couple dancing and playing in the mirror were meant to be playful, and show moments of happiness, I felt they felt a little silly, like in the sense that they were a little too playful. One thing that may have made this better was to edit the scenes to in such an order as to build a climax of loss, starting with the boyfriends murder, and moving back in time to the moment they met. I personally would have made the climax their first kiss. In almost every scene you effectively show how it seems to be that she is human, then twist it a little by building an interspersed narrative about her and the support group for other vampires. But it may have been interesting to take those scenes and divide them up into the first and third acts. The first the human take on it, the third the vampire take on it, and the second the support group. I wonder if that would be more satisfying to me as the audience. However, I can see that you may have been trying to avoid something that seemed like making her nature a surprise. I didn’t quite like her low point being the attacking of some random guy. I would have preferred her low point, being the thing that makes her wander off into the sunrise, some more defining memory. Would have liked better sound mixing with the dialog, and would have had the track volume increase towards the climax, then fade out at the dawn shot. Just my two cents as a storyteller and very experienced audience member. Great film. I enjoyed it.

Such an interesting interpretation of what it would be like to be a vampire. I had never considered some of it. It was told in a unique way. I love it!!!
