You guys need help with this channel. There's a ton wrong with it considering this is a government run channel. Why is your website listed as the UA-cam page? Why are there no actual videos of press conferences posted here? Why are there videos set to "For Kids" when they're not strictly meant for kids? Lake County, you need someone who understands what the people want and how to provide what they want. You need someone who understands how this system actually works. As a resident who understands how the website works and how to reach the people of Lake County and those interested in moving to or visiting Lake County, I can give you some pointers and maybe even work with you. Here are two easy fixes that can be done easily. 1: Change your website to the government website you have. Link the UA-cam channel on the government website if possible as well, but this half isn't required. 2: All videos that have the "For Kids" box checked, uncheck them. When this feature is in place, users cannot comment or watch the video in a mini player. The inability to comment on a video posted by a government entity could also be construed as an attempt to discourage the people from using their first amendment right, so this is a major fix that needs to happen as soon as humanly possible. If UA-cam marked the videos themselves, you need to appeal that decision and inform them that this channel represents a part of the Florida government. Any further insights for easy fixes would require me to see the back end of your channel. Not as easy fixes, on the other hand, is to regularly update the people on this channel by posting videos of all events. This includes stuff such as hurricane updates from county officials to who will be playing at Leesburg Bike Fest or Tavares' Rocktober show. You're holding press conferences with news stations during a time where people don't use cable tv if they're under 35 years old, and that's being generous to cable. I'm not saying don't hold these conferences with them, I'm just saying to post them here as well. Thankfully UA-cam allows live streaming as does Facebook and this is incredibly easy and free to set up. Why not set this up for each conference? I'm part of the previously mentioned demographic and I'm looking on UA-cam, Twitter, Facebook and Google for news from our government because a $50 per month internet bill and free streaming services like UA-cam are much more efficient than paying $100+ a month for a hundred channels that I'd only use for one or two channels for an hour a day for entertainment purposes. This is just the advice of a knowledgeable citizen who wants more clarity and access to what's going on in my area.

Shut the boat ramp before there is a tragic accident on the river and ties up all of our fire department in EMTs, there's no reason people from Orlando should be coming up here and using the river.
