Corrosive vs Non-Corrosive Coil Cleaner
Переглядів 873 місяці тому
We get asked all the time: "What's the difference between a brightener and a non-corrosive coil cleaner?" So we ran an experiment-Viper HD Coil Cleaner vs. a brightener on aluminum foil to replicate common coil materials. The Results: The brightener ate away at the foil within minutes! After weighing, the foil treated with brightener deteriorated by 33%, dropping from 0.9g to 0.6g. Meanwhile, V...

How to buy
Why not just pull and clean. Cleaning in place doesn't remove all the caca stuck inside the evap coil
🔥🔥
Love it for the peace of mind it provides.
can this be used on commercial refrigerators?
It can be use on any type of refrigeration
Rinse free or need to rinse off?
Rinse free
do you use it on the mini split threads as well?
Yes
@@refrigerationtechnologies Will there be any issues down the road if I had to unscrew and re-open the line-set threads for some reason like re-using the old line-set with a new mini split system? Would it leave dried residue on the threads or flares that might cause it not to be able to seal up tightly again, even if using more Nylog ?
@@tradfi No issues. This product does not harden or dry and can be easily removed and re-applied.
@@mikepastorello5222 what should be used to remove it? thx
@@tradfi If you need to remove it you can use our Viper Wipes
I love coil cleaning
Never supposed to use coil cleaner on micro channel coils.
Our condenser cleaner is aluminum and micro channel safe
This is worthless watching
My problem is spraying hot components and it's evap rate...if that makes sense? Res or Comm HVAC run into that?
Looks good pimp
Great to hear those tips on deep cleaning the evaporator coils: two passes, and can use more dilution on the second pass.
Probably should've had someone a little more skilled with the torch on this one...
Would you recommend pre-spraying the coils a new mini split as a preventative measure for dust/grease buildup?
Hey guys, please forward your products online so we the european people can get them, i couldn't find them. If you do it would be great, thanks for your services.
Thanks for the video. Was there any residue left on the copper pipe when you remove Viper Wet Rag? Any cleanup if you wanted a show piece?
What about O-rings
Yes, works on o-rings too
Awesome video bro
NYLOG specifies putting it on the threads also
They gotta start showing these videos in trade schools everybody gonna wanna do hvacr 😂
Cool
Could have been more detailed on the instructions.. missed opportunity
How can we purchase
Do you add water along with the concentrate into the dispenser gun or just the concentrated cleaner?
Concentrate only
@@refrigerationtechnologies thank you!
Now I just need a cap for the cap. The tip always gets gooped up and gets dirty. I'm glad a never had the pleasure of using the old cap.
We scoured the earth, and found a revolutionary new cap... on a bottle of Elmers glue
looks like floral foam to me
Love your product!!
I have been using Viper coil cleaner for 2 years, and this stuff most definitely works.
Are you using it for pulling a vacuum?
Needs updated sds
ᴘʀᴏᴍᴏsᴍ 😻
If I use it on minisplit I put it on the thread so it's not dry and giving a false torque
i saw a video with a guy saying if you use Evap+ it needs to dwell for a minimum of 6-8 hours for the enzymes to start to activate{on a wet coil/evaporator}, and up to 72 hours to fully clean for odors ect.is this true?I want to clean my interior evaporators due to musty, moldy type smells from my crawl space and attic units, should i let it dwell for this long? Thanks.
Since you do not need to rinse this product off once applied, just spray your evap coils and walk away.
So do you Dilute the evap plus only on self rinsing applications? Or you don’t dilute it all ? Had a guy tell me you still have to dilute it even tho it says don’t dilute on the bottle of evap plus and there are no dilute instructions
You only dilute the Venom Pack Evaporator per the instructions on the pouch. The Viper EVAP+ should no be diluted.
@@refrigerationtechnologies thanks
ᎮᏒᎧᎷᎧᏕᎷ
Will this cause corrosion/leaks of aluminum or copper tubes?
No
Brian Orr REPRESENT
thanks
Awesome video showcasing the best products in the industry
Is it possible to get a replacment pickup tube for the foam gun?
Send us an email to support@refrigtech.com for assistance
wish I they published dilution based on weight. I assume the sg is close to water but would be nice to dilute via weight instead of volume.
Yes, the SG is close to 1.0 so the weight/volume mixtures should be very close
That spray, was painful to watch. just a little bit of quality control. into a reasonable spray pattern would make this product 100% better.
Incredible product!
Fantastic product!
Great product!
HVAC Techs.. listen up! THIS is how you clean coils. You don’t just spray coil cleaner on and immediately wipe it off with paper towels, leaving behind black clumps between the fins and charge $170! A news crew should do a hidden camera investigation into what you get away with. Shameful.
I was thinking about using nylog to seal my refrigerant gauge set. It dose not hold vacuum. Is there any reason I shouldn't?
This should work just fine
Great video. Thank you for that presentation. Can you explain when to use Viper Heavy duty and Evap+ ?
