Hey, thx for the video. Quick questions - any idea why the club face angle, face to path and dynamic loft are not displayed with your shots?
@@Muscho1925 Eye Mini does not capture those metrics.
@ Ok, I see. Thx for the update!
Please do 4K version
When you take it to the range does it save your numbers as a session so when you get home you can review your averages? Or is a hit by hit session when you are at the range
Man i wish 3/4" conduit here in canada was $10. Its $32 for a 10' piece
Does the mini show face angle? It doesn’t list that as a data point on their website.
Great videos! I’m completely ignorant when it comes to computers. Any chance you could provide links to purchase everything to make this work. Guy at work will put it together for me. I just need to know exactly what to buy even if it’s $100 more in parts if easier to acquire. This could save me from spending an extra $700 on a new one. .
I was debating between these two. Launch Pro's price point and you don't even get a DRIVING RANGE, is a joke. Also, not sure if you have this with the mini, but Bushnell units also require you to connect them to the internet every 45 days, otherwise they turn it off (as well as not letting you use it out of the continental USA).
It is NOT designed to work on a bowed wrist or cupped wrist in the backswing..Not designed for much aid in the backswing. period. It is designed to promote forward shaft lean before 2 feet before impact , at impact, and 2 feet beyond.. The negative is you have to fabricate a "cut off" finish in order to fly to ball any distance.. that is the one negative.
2:23 I say exactly that. Lots and lots of marketing videos on this stating the wrist set starts at the top of the backswing, which then is held through impact. You’re not supposed to hear the click at impact. You’re supposed to set the wrists with this training aid at the top. You could argue that click should happen in the first moment of the downswing but imo we’re really splitting hairs at that point. All that matters is you set the wrists and maintain it as you come through the ball. I find training aids that don’t force you to do the action correctly and (even worse) give positive feedback when doing it incorrectly are not worth $150. But like I said at the end, different players will find different things helpful.
I thought it promoted forward shaft lean and good impact position considering it’s an impact trainer. Idk

Hi Nice review!! I am on the middle of building my golf sim and I have a question if you can help me, thx in advance Can u share the specs on your pc to run gspro if I need one or do you run off iPad??
@@armeniabonito you will need a gaming PC to run GSPro. My suggestion is to go with a desktop PC, not a laptop. You will pay 2-3x the price for same performance if you go with a laptop (it is expensive to make really powerful computers in a compact format, and you pay a lot for that portability). If you build something yourself you will pay even less. I made a video here on building a $200 PC from parts off eBay. Even someone with no PC building experience could do this in an hour. The performance is probably the equivalent of a $900 laptop or a $500 “new” PC. I walk through the parts I used: ua-cam.com/video/gLICX5WDw6c/v-deo.htmlsi=LNbS1onG_DvtDGNv
@@golfplusbeer6312 thx a lot!!
How did you get the recording for behind the line view?
Hey thanks for this. I’m going to do the exact same build. Would a 1 tb ssd improve the performance?
Good review, were you using a pc for the screenshots? Looksalot different from the iOS app reviews. If so do you think pc software is better than the app.
eye mini? Do you have any models you can recommend? I want to analyze the swing at the same time😊
mine went in the bin.
When I use this device I hit beautifully straight and compressed shots. When I take it off I tend to eventually go back to my old ways. I will admit I don’t think I put in enough reps wearing it. It needs to become a muscle memory thing. After hitting several great shots while using it I rush to soon into thinking I’ve mastered the new swing and take it off right away (big mistake). My overall view is that this is the best training aid I’ve ever used, it has definitely helped my game. I just need to spend more time actually using it to where it becomes more natural for me.
@golfplusbeer I am a player that throws/arm wrestles/casts my right wrist angle at the top. Wondering if this would help.
Thanks for the review. I had an instructor that used something similar to this and I didn't benefit from it either.
I dropped my handicap from 22 to 8 in one year. You just have to use it right. The coaches who are helping to get the word out online would not risk their reputation selling something that didn't work. You may not like it but I can tell you Pete Cowen, arguably the best coach on the planet, loves it. He works with his tour players with it as well as regular folks. Several PGA tour players use it and at least 2 LPGA players do. You may be more knowledgeable than Pete Cowen or his players, but I seriously doubt it. Please check the ratings on our website.
I found this device to be extremely effective. Have you seen the way Mike Malaska uses it on his channel or Eric Cogorno? Both are world class instructors and have great results using it with students. Clay Ballard also raves about its benefits.
Thanks for your honest opinion about this product. I was thinking about getting one of those but now will try to work with a camera more.
Great review! I have the SkyTrak+. The thing I miss with my SkyTrak+ is the native integration with GSPRO. Impressed with the Uneekor ecosystem.
how tight do you have that top net pulled? I'm setting up something similar and I really only need it for sky'd drivers from friends...or maybe when I've also had a couple beers. I'm wrestling with having it tight and having the ball come back down, or if it should be loose to kind of catch it. I'm just worried about it still taking the loose net with it directly into the ceiling.
It’s tight but loose enough you can press on it with your hand and it has some give. I just threw balls at it and adjusted until it kept them off the ceiling with a full wedge shot. If I were to build my sim again, I might have made a ceiling frame that drops down a foot or so, but this has been working just fine.
That’s sweet
Nice review. The unit is priced right. I just paid $5K to upgrade my quad to a quad max. lol. The entire cost of an eye mini. 😅
Looks smooth
Thank you for the review. Have you had any putting issues with the eye mini?
Putting has been perfect. Both chipping and putting are incredibly sensitive, which is one of my favorite things about this device.
Good review. Do you know how it performs on the iPad?
@@gramamg100 the Uneekor View app on the iPad is fantastic. Connects great and you get everything you get on the PC except for the ability to connect extra cameras. I use it outdoors at the range from time to time and was using an iPad in the garage prior to building my PC with no issues. I have not used it with any simulation software on iPad though.
Great video! I'm about to pull the trigger on a Dell Precision T3600 or an HP Z440. Then go find an Nvidia 1070 or 1070 ti card - taking your note of caution about the power supply issue... The HP comes with a 700w power supply. Anything else I should be aware of that you didn't cover in the video already?
Just remember to install windows to the SSD for the snappiest experience. Also if you are buying a different model than what I used, just check the CPU is roughly as good as mine (E5-1620 3.6 GHZ). You can use PCBenchmarking.com to check. Just type that in “versus [your CPU]” to see if its roughly as fast or better. GSPro uses very low CPU usage so I doubt it matters much, but in general it’s good to have a similar tier CPU to GPU so one doesn’t bottleneck the other. Sometimes you’ll see these office PCs go for the same price with drastically worse/better integrated CPUs.
@@golfplusbeer6312 100%! The CPU listed is an Intel Xeon E5-1620 v3 @ 3.5GHz, so I'm safe there :)
Curious what power supply you ended up getting? Seems like even the 1070ti recommends at least 500W from a quick Google search.
1070ti draws 180W maximum. GPU manufacturers will recommend usually 2.5x that to account for other components that are drawing power but in most cases you won’t come close, especially with a budget build like this. The Vega 56 is a rare exception. See at 11:15 mark. But to answer the question, the PSU I bought was a $40 1300W used Dell Precision power supply. 6MKJ9 is the part #.
Thanks, good to know. Looks like prices have increased, but can still get the 1070i and T3600 for about $235 shipped from what I've found so far.@@golfplusbeer6312
Simply AWESOME! Now do one that does 4K please!
Could this be done with a laptop?
Do you have any issues playing Augusta on high or very high? Lag/buffering? Awesome video. Appreciate the feedback.
I have not had any issues with the most demanding courses on GSPro. Everything plays well above 60 FPS on High, and between 30-60 on Very High.
Thx for the vid. So if you were doing it again, would you get different graphics card or just get stronger power supply in the first place? If you would get different card, which one would you choose? Thanks.
Yeah I’d probably just get the best card I could get for under $100. Lots of cards just as good as the Vega 56. You can find lists that rank every card by performance. GTX 1070ti for example is a slightly better card and can also be found for $100 or so.
Let’s say I wanted to play GSpro offline, what else would I need to make that work?
GSPro requires an internet connection to check your license during startup. You could use your phone as a hot spot but my suggestion would be to try to find a way to get wifi to your space. You will need it to download courses and updates anyway, and the benefit of being able to watch videos while you practice etc. is a no brainer. If your pc does not have a wifi card, you can get a cheap usb wifi adapter for $20. I’ve had success with wifi extenders (my garage is detached from my house) which you can also get for very cheap.
So I’m already extending my business wifi from my home business which is next door to my house. My garage is on the complete other side of the house from where our extender is, so I would have to run 1-2 more extenders. I’m not sure what I’d actually get for a connection at that point, would be pretty weak I’d imagine. 🤷♂️
Much appreciated
Good stuff - running an old 1070 alienware and I've been able to run GS Pro on 1080p at Ultra no issues
1070 on ultra?
Nice review, thanks!
Going to work on a vlog of courses that Im planning on playing this year, Thank You for the information
I cant find where its saving the videos to...nothing in the bluestacks media folder...any ideas?
how do you use the shot tracer app on ur computer?
I have bluestacks but can't find shot tracer through bluestacks app store. When i find Shot tracer through the link below it says I have no compatible device?
I had bluestacks 3 you need bluestacks 4
How do you get the shottracer app on your laptop???
Thanks for the video!!! Just started filming and I will implement this into my editing. And yes... ShotTracer... make this a desktop program, not just a mobile app. Cheers!
Great video! Thank you! Also didn't know there is an android emulator for windows.
Thanks! You guys have a great product. I'd love to see a PC app someday to make action camera integration even easier (:
Golf Plus Beer there’s a Mac version out now!!! Not sure about PC it’s 15 bucks a month though so this might be a better option!!!
