High rise building project Rosea Floss RMIT 2020
Переглядів 2114 роки тому
This is a project by a group of 4th year undergraduate students at RMIT (Chanlyheng May, Haotian Tang, Nguyen Minh Chau Pham, Kun Liu). They have finished this amazing project under remote learning and locked down condition in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. This is among 10 other projects by students showcasing their comprehesive skills after four years of undergraduate study at RMIT.
Bioinspired Structure with 3D Printing

Natural materials are fundamentally different from man-made materials. The first are sourced from nature, while the latter are sourced from a scientific laboratory. Nature materials generally comprise hard and soft phases arranged in complex hierarchical architectures, with characteristic dimensions spanning from the nanoscale to the macroscale. The resulting materials are lightweight and often...
RMIT Modelling 3D Printing Nanoclay Concrete

This video to show results from recent modelling of concrete printing process, where normal nanoclay enhanced-cementitous material is used. This show some improvement in the buildabililty of the concrete mix. Credit: modeling and videos: Mr Vuong Nguyen (PhD student @ RMIT) & Experimental results by A/Prof Biranchi Panda (IIT Guwahadi)
RMIT Modelling Failure of 3D Printing Normal OPC Concrete
Переглядів 4734 роки тому
Digital fabrication with cementitious or concrete materials has recently lead to a revolutionary development for construction industry to provide unique way to build highly complex structure with wide range of materials, minmise construction wastes and time, and also enable remote construction. 3D concrete printing (3DCP), a digital-assited process with the successive extrusion of concrete mate...

Hi, it is really amazing to model the printing process so that the failure height can be estimated. I am wondering do you or your group have some publishcations relate to this project.
