We use over 650 million aerosols every year in the UK. Once they're empty, they can be recycled alongside your food and drink cans and you can send them on a journey of transformation to become something new!
Don't leave them out, put them out. Please recycle your EMPTY aerosols!

More and more people in the UK are remembering to recycle their aluminium packaging. It's not just drink cans that can be recycled endlessly, foil trays, wrapping foil, aerosols, tubes and bottle tops can all be recycled into something new. Just add them empty and clean to your recycling bin this Christmas and send them on a journey of transformation!

Ever wondered where Santa gets the energy from to travel the globe in just one night? He's fueled by mince pies of course but did you know that Santa is an avid recycler too? He saves all of his aluminium mince pie cases and chocolate foil to take home to the North Pole where he remelts the valuable aluminium to make toys for all the good girls and boys!

In the UK almost 11 million tonnes of non-recyclable waste is sent to Energy from Waste facilities (EFW) where the waste is incinerated, resulting in the production of electricity which powers local homes.
