Nice to know except I bought 5 so disapointed hey
That is so frustrating when it turns out to be aluminum instead of copper. Great video tho. Hopefully you have copper in the other welders. Keep it up bro. 👍
Thank you brother , yes hoping there is some copper in the others
2000 dollars per tonne of aluminum it soon adds up. Awesome episode brother
Thanks mate yeah I did expect copper but yeah aluminium still ok
Woh that was awesome. clean up on isle my pants ha ha

Great video , very nice looking bars , can’t wait to pick up my copper bars someone is melting my copper for me
Nice getting copper is always good , it will get harder & harder to get hang onto it brother
@@itsjustme356 I will do got another 18 years before I retire lol I will be keeping all copper and brass I get and save it all up for when I retire 😂😂
Hi buddy, your video is really helpful for us restoring our caravan windows. I can't seem to find the new little plugs you got replaced. Would it be possible for you to give link please?
I bought them on ebay just type in viscount window plugs you will see them
I have found that resting my rolls of wire on the forge while melting increases the amount of ingots er tank of gas substantially. Nice pours!
Thankyou these did come up nice like the crinkle ontop
Happy wife happy life good job brother
would love to see you polish one of the copper ingots to the same level as your anvil
I should do this , I have done a 5kg one all polished up

are you saying I am myopic ?
Yay, I love the copper melts
same I try to do other metals but always go onto copper oh well
You should sell these to hipsters at the market
something to think about misso likes hers
Wow... thats pretty amazing.
Thank you brother ,she wears it so thinking that's good
I like the idea. But i have one question. How do you seal the copper? Isnt it getting darker after a couple days? My Copperbars are turning into brown on a couple spots, where i touched it with my bare fingers. I dont care about the Copperbars, but on a bracelet it isnt looking nice then i think. I wonder if a clear varnish is practicable. Anyway, i like this bracelet a lot and the Rings too, but on my opinion they had to be a bit thicker, but thats just my opinion. Great work Brother. Greetings from Bavaria...
@@svenbrandt3159 being just a small item it would be easy to polish
Damn, wrong Account 😂😂😂, thanks for your answer Buddy.
very nice well done happy wife happy life
She must like it as she wearing it so pretty stoked with that , thanks Russ Moot
Ohhh nyce
Thanks mate
I tried using a stripper to strip some wire but I ended up getting kicked out of the night club
ha ha yeah they hate that stupid night clubs
Where I live copper wire is worth more than ingots. I only melt dirty pieces from metal detecting.
Yeah sometimes I think I should just leave it as bare bright , but ingots are a good way to store the copper
Brother your pouring tongs did you make them mine just do not feel safe with 12kg of copper it's uncomfortable. I have made a better version of my old pouring device but only for the #8.
I did make my tongs I did make a 10kg pouring tongs , not used yet
Great video new subscriber here
Thanks mate
This past week that would've netted you roughly $20 in the US East Coast.
Still got the whole role to strip , prices not bad atm hey
I have a stripper almost identical. Actually I have two one is for the really thick stuff and the other is the smaller wires. I use a power drill for the thick and the handle for the thin Keep them lubricated . Especially if you use a power drill. I watch the other guy from Australia and he's getting a lot of rain as well.
Yes I did notice when I lube it , it did work better I do have another coming to do the smaller cables , yes rain is shitting me but hey good time to strip more so there's more to melt , thanks mate legend !
Brilliant brother I thought about getting one. But it would make me depressed everytime I watch project shop. Lol. The rain got so bad towards the end it started sounding like a round of applause lol 2200 here nearly dropped of listening to it.
Yes the rain was not clearing up so thought why not show the stripper in action
Damn bro, that is some really nice thick copper wire. Love it. I can't wait to see you melt it down. 👍
same you know it will be some clean bars nice makes me smile
Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski 🇵🇱 good job 👍👍👍
Thanks mate , kind regards Australia
Beautiful Gas burners, how many calories can it reach in KW. or in BTUs. about, .? . Thank you very much
Not sure on the BTU's it does go through the gas though

Great looking bar 😍
Thanks brother yes this one is nice one
Legend has it, every stop light in town is dark.
What kind of scales are those.
Hi mate yeah these are digital kitchen scales up to 10kg
@@itsjustme356 thanks
Beautiful work. I would love to attempt this for myself. So far all i have done is melted copper wire for ingots. Very satisfying.
That's how I started , I worked out bronze needs to more hotter and casts better in sand all sealed still awesome to pour , keep it up mate you ;ll be hooked
Great video , they are some good looking copper bars 👍😁
Thanks mate yeah these cleaned up nice
Nice job i love melting stuff copper is my fav. Good job
Copper is my 1st choice also

@@itsjustme356 my last melt some aluminium must of snook in yours are red mine looked liked petrol lol have a great week brother see you in the next episode a big hi to Mrs itsjustme356. Brother I spat my coffee out when you said I go put on my boots omg. The first pour the ungloved hand was getting dam hot I noticed you poured from the other end second melt. OK what happened to glove 2.
@@empirefinds no worries
Your back
Yeah got another melt in , take my mind away
@@itsjustme356 thought youd just full time youtube now
@@mattthiem2483 yeah right
Just wondering if that's steel you are using for mold.coooer has alot higher melting point and wondering what you use to keep copper from attaching to metal mold.i used a piece of metal to scrape off impurities but in the process that stuff fused to the metal because of the high copper melting point and lower temp metal melting point
Yeah I did show how I use graphite powder lightly dust it prior to pouring seems to work
Good content ❤❤❤🎉🎉
thank you so much

@@empirefinds Just told her she goes OMG dont think so , worth a try hey
I think this is the most candid video I've seen of you. Lmao. I love it. 😂😂😂
Thanks brother yes this is the real me
You were going to have a blast! I had one that was 41 feet long and 13 feet high and it was a monster… the smaller ones are a lot of fun and more easy to control and get in and out of. Have a blast and go on a lot of adventures.
Thank you so much brother , wow that is a monster of a caravan I think we have one of the smallest pop tops out there
Outstanding security measure she took there
cheers mate yeah gotta be careful
If you are doing this to sell to scrap yards you could save heaps of money by not melting the wire into ingots... copper wire is 99.9% pure copper(except tinned wire) and the scrap yards pay top dollar for it which means you don't have to spend money on gas to melt it and save heaps of time as well.
Yeah I know man , not going to sell till later then on ebay maybye I'll get more I reckon
