Wow. I’m the tenth commenter. I’m amazed. Been watching this guy lately. Where the hell was I in the 80’s. Talk about my head up my ass in Alaska. I could play and once memorized “ hotel California” on my Yamaha acoustic. And a beautiful lady took off her blouse for me that night at the show. But had a car wreck that night. Minor. 700 bucks and the guy trusted me to pay him. I did. What a wierd night. But where the hell was my head why wasn’t I studying this guy. Anyway. Gary. You were wasted this night. Saw it in your eye. Thanks.

@slagmilkcard I've been the same like you. But when I was on INXS without Michael H. show wasn't so bad. I know there is nobody who would replace Lynott, but when you are on the concert you can hear musicans who worked with Lynott! So... if you didn't catch Lynott live on stage - is this (for it is!) oprtunity to feel (a little bit) ob Lynott live even we know he is gone a long time ago!

We could get the greatest musicians live today and form a band called "Thin Lizzy". But what a waste of time it would be. There will never be a Thin Lizzy without Philip Parris Lynott.

Also Marco needs to stay out of the girls' pants section.

Thin Lizzy wasn't just Phil Lynott, it was Brian Downey as well. He was very important to the arrangement and feel of the music and was in the first incarnation of the band.

I saw the real Thin Lizzy live seven times and I've seen this 'version' - they are terrible. Gorham doesn't play in the same style anymore and Sykes is a poor frontman. Even Brian Downey won't play with this band now. It's not about keepoinng the legend alive - it's about an easy payday.
