Exactly how I feel about being a Police Officer. Always wanted to be one as a kid, never cared about the income vs the danger, I love helping people that doesn't detur me from becoming one. Unfortunately I smoke a lot of marijuana. It's the only thing that rids of my anxiety and lets me sleep. I had extreme insomnia (from me always staying up and never wanting to sleep) and it's the only thing that worked. I also couldn't eat, I had an eating disorder that even though I would burn through a shit ton of calories, I could not finish a full meal (tons of stomach problems etc) and smoking allows me to eat, and not feel the stomach pains. Because of that, I've depended on marijuana to get me through my day-to-day and I can't quit :( I do need to get help and hopefully I can still become a Officer, but I know they won't be so happy to hear I've been smoking for 5+ years. They say; A Police Dog is also a Police Officer. This is an incorrect statement ! It's just a dog. From what I'm hearing; many of them are wrong. They call the dogs to come and sniff around the car checking for weed / drugs. If the dog makes a hit, now they will search the car even without your consent. I hear a good 75% of the times the dog was wrong. They found nothing. But I'm saying; It's impossible for a dog called a K9 to be a police officer. That's impossible. To become a police officer, You Must Swear an Oath to Always Uphold and Defend The Constitution. It's impossible for a dog to swear and Oath. If I were an attorney, I could win that case in a court of law. It would be a slam dunk.

When I was in high school, I was on a medication that caused me to stare up like my eyes were rolling in the back of my head.. so to help with the pain it was causing, I would turn my head up towards the ceiling. The worst part of it was that no one could focus on me as an individual; they only focused on why I was staring at the ceiling... like my personality didn't even matter.. even after I would explain what was happening. Doing what you're doing is going to help others to accept and understand exactly what tics are and will help people move past the spectacle of uncontrollable movements and move on to taking the person seriously. I remember the treatment I received during that time in my life and I'm impressed with how you push forward despite what you go through 👏 even those of us without tourettes can take a tip from the way you carry yourself
