Another excellent video Stephen. I was at the Somme again in September visiting some old friends. Its always an emotional trip for me and im always glad to get home as wandering round these colossal cemetery's can bring me down with the horrors that man can do to his fellow man...Tragic and sad.. But i cant wait to go back next year...

Great video. I was unaware of this AIF Burial ground and yet I must have passed nearby many times - it's on my list now.

The Germans had machine guns at Flatiron Copse which could (and did) enfilade the 38th Welsh Division attacking at Mametz Wood...............

My great uncle Dan was killed in the battle of the Somme on September 15,1916.His body was not found.His name is on the Thiepval Memorial.He was in a Scottish Regiment.He was not a professional soldier.Rest in Peace Dan MacCallum.

Another moving video Stephen. Why are some of the grave markers laying down?

I love the videos. It would be nice to see a move back to posting the location names in the video itself. Sometimes it is difficult to pause, scan the description and then be sure the place in the video is matching the name you think it is in the list. Having the names on the screen makes it easier to identify each location.

I'm also humbled that you have done so much to honour soldiers from Northern Ireland.

Stephen - you bring these scene's to life with you artistic attention to detail. The music which says to dead, " you answered the call to duty knowing that you would be sacrificed". The shadow of the cross over the the cross monument. The farmer plowing his field next to the dead giving contrast to the modern next to the history of the field...and so forth. Keep creating the spirit of these sacred places so we will never forget to enter into the eternal story which unfolded here.
