Excelent Antonio!!!!
the other version is better anyway ..
If Robert Fripp String Quintet is an experimental group, it's probably the most beautiful experiment
I had thought that the most lyrical notes were performed by RF, but a performance video revealed that Trey Gunn was the soloist. Robert Fripp really assumes the virtue of the role of rhythm guitarist.
Caro e Leggendario Carlo Domeniconi !!! infinita gratitudine sempre grazie per questo meraviglioso dono!!
Love it!
Will you be in Italy guitar circle in April 2025?
Power!
Beautiful!
I had the opportunity twice to hear him play Koyunbaba in live performances in Istanbul and even had a friendly talk. Carlo is not only a composer but a great mind... Long live maestro
Questo brano riesce a commuovermi ancora ogni volta che lo ascolto, dopo tanti anni ♥
Grazie ancora Alessandro
❤❤❤👏👏👏😍😍😍🙌🙌🙌🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😘
Easily one of the most beautiful pieces for solo guitar ever written
if you've ever heard "Namida" by Marty Friedman, the progression is pretty similar. Love both that piece as well
If I recall the story, the member who wrote this theme was either a guitar or sound tech for Robert's group and he passed from cancer before they performed this as a full piece. If anyone can verify, please do comment
In a sense, I wrote it, John Sinks, who was the composer, too, died few days ago.
Oh I see, thanks for the reply. I didn't know his name. I think you meant he passed a few years ago (according to the dgmlive site)@@antoniodehonestis3536 Thanks for posting this!
The voice is Kathryn Kuhlman, an American Christian evangelist, but Eno and Byrne found out they didn't have the rights to use any recordings of her after they released the first version of the album. You can hear Eno talking about My Life in the Bush of Ghosts on the Adam Buxton podcast from about 5 years ago.
Appreciated

Somehow this reminds me of Egberto Gismonti playing his pieces complete with imperfections, being very free with tempos, sounding improvisational, authentic, immediate. A special magic, and captured on a recording.
Meraviglia

This is much harder to play than it looks. It also requires NST and a new set of strings :). I tried it about 3 years ago, with moderate success. Well done!!!

Thank you, for the appreciation
Has a slippery people vibe.
Beethoven, Bach, Mozart .. . . . they are dead. But this genious is alive. Respect to the master

So lucky that I’ve listen to him playing Koyunbaba live in Ankara, Turkiye many years ago. Unforgettable!

the kuhlman estate refused to give these bozo clowns the license to sample her divinely inspired sayings.
This has a unique tuning which gives it that awesome resonance..a bit like Celtic tuning
Amazing 🌹🌹🌹❤
🙏👍🌸🌹🌷
did this guy ever know what the turks did to italians ? ? he went to turkey and lived there??? and learned their culture ?
What did they do and when? And do you know what Italians (Venetians, Genoese) did to Turks?🤔
what a stuid ass comment
u know what italians did to Europe? bankrupted Europe. Italians also caused WW2. worst people ever
That was a long time ago. People grow and evolve from the previous conflicts
@@Kenan-Z yeah give them food latin alphabet to write and read cause turkish decided to forget their prime language italians give turkish architecture taught them how to drive democracy introduced sex to women only list goes on
This broke my brain. Have been listening to LiJui’s version my whole life and now I listen to this..keep expecting it to go in one direction and he skips my expectation and dances around with all this subtle complexity..oh they’re his phrasings I can tell that this is coming from the source. What an interesting guy. Got a headache now.
Could you show the LiJui's version to us, please?
m.ua-cam.com/video/szY7jmWHXJc/v-deo.html I came across her maybe 20 years ago, ppl keep mentioning John Williams’s version, I’ve never heard it.
@@carfamily5701 I've been hearing to LiJie's version for more than 10 years now, it's ingrained in my brain by now
Bende ayni senin gibiyim
It's on UA-cam - well worth the listen. @@carfamily5701

Thanks for Sharing this master piece from the master! No one plays is better.
Beautiful, by far my favorite composer ever ❤️
This has given me goosebumps! The best recording of this piece so far! It's very nice to listen to the composer playing his own composition.👍
Paulo Martelli has been my 'goto' for this piece for ages. So happy this showed up in my recommendations.
First listen through. I can't get over how different it is. Its just amazing, there is so much extra going on.
NO SABES COMO BUSQUE ESTE TEMA!!!! MIL GRACIAS! aguante Gauchos Alemanes!
