Cleansing oils are meant for a (first step cleanze) in a double cleanse system. They will not clean your face on their own. They are meant for removing makeup / sunscreen but you are supposed to go in with a regular facial cleanser after. Your skin may be burning due to product build up without adaquently removing it with a cleanser.
