After 60 mil liner cut to center of 3 inch embedded channel a hot gun is used to tack it. Next grinding and then extrusion weld.

Demo shows tool making a molten extrusion fillet that was a ribbon of same material. Contact area needs to be abraided on the edges with a handheld grinder with appropriate abrasion to lightly scuff surface/take of glaze. Burn thru happens when ending point ties into a start location and area is still hot.
