I am extremely delighted by the progress that the state has made with Project Search. However, I have a son who attends a (DSO) Day Service Option . I am curious to know if there are job opportunities being created in our state that could offer opportunities for those with autism who have work skills, but cannot participate in full conversations as evidenced in the video above. This population is struggling to find work sites that will take them!!!! This is a deterrent for this population and it inhibits the progression of work skills, language skill, and the overall ability to live life to their optimal potential.
