That is NOT the priority valve. That is the steering pressure reduction valve !
Thanks for the video. Was a great help. Interesting here in South Africa we got the 3140 as well as the 3141 that came out with the 6cyl ADE engine that was produced under license from Perkins. Personally I prefere the 3141. Reliable ,better fuel economy .
Very interesting, yes I would imagine it is easier on fuel and a Perkins is a great engine. I wonder what the power output of them is. The John Deere engine is definitely not easy on fuel.
It's roughly 100hp or 75 kw. It's the Perkins engine with the vertical diesel pump. However 3141 was not the only model to get the ADE Alot of smaller models have the 4cyl ADE/perkins. All the JD models with ADE engines numbers of that time period ended with 1. Because of sanctions against South Africa the Apartheid government had a drive to become less reliant on the international community for machinery. All tractors makes such as Fiat, Ford,Jd were compelled to the same legislation. Trucks manufacturers were also compelled to fit ADE engines.
@@johnwagenhauser9835 very interesting, enjoyed the information, thanks John.
Hey I bought the same excavator. Do you have the parts # for all the filters?
Hi, sorry I don’t have them right now, if you contact your local dealer or parts stockists they will give you the numbers 👍🏼
En español
How did u adjusted the width of idler folk
Please watch the video at 36 minutes in and I explain it all 😊👍🏼
thanks do the head b removed to put the rest in as u replaced da easy one an u tested the rest good
Ey up , Conner , you did a tree shear video a while back , what make and model shear was it , and your opinion was it the shear to buy, as you hired that one didn't you , what was max cut , good videos cheers Rich
Hey man. Yes it was built by N2 fabrications. They are very very well built! I would like to tell you more but the guy that makes them will tell you better. The ram on them is extremely beefy and the cutting edge is specifically designed for the job. I cut straight through a 14inch tree with ease. Look the guy up and give him a call. Tell him I highly recommended it. Thanks for watching!
To eliminate radio interference you can twist wires together with a drill.
Oh the struggle of the angles😂😂😂
😂
exactly same issues on mine, wondering why the oil deposit that supplies the main pump is completely dry
A major internal oil leak or a broken shaft to your internal oil pump. Even a very bad internal oil pump would still pump some oil up to the front reservoir. If you drive it you will end up with serious harm done to the hi Lo and everything else after that.
@@connormcmahon3724 just put manometer in the main pump and low pressure when tractor still cold show just below 5 but after a while when oil gets warm go down to literally 0!! Wtf!!!
Hello , just wondering would you know the rough cost of getting somebody to do this job? dipper cylinder on mine is weeping a good bit especially when warmed up. wee bit leaks around the slew ring too. Would like to take it on myself going off this video if I had to but also might be easier to pay a man
It would realistically cost you in the region of 500 to €1000 I think. That’s only a rough guess as prices are constantly changing and would be if you took it off yourself and brought it to a shop to be done. A call out will cost you a lot more and if there is any damage to the cylinder rod itself it will cost you more too. If you haven’t done this work before I would advise taking it off (if you can) and taking it to a cylinder rebuilding specialist. Goodluck 👍🏼
@connormcmahon3724 cheers for that I'll take the cylinder off probably using the mini digger. She's an ex120-3 ... probably is worth fixing then the rest aren't leaking but probably not far behind 🤣 only bought her for a self build wish I knew more about them beforehand. One side tracking is quite weak aswell and had basically no oil when i drained it. We had to put all new rollers too was a full day job. Not sure what the tracking issue is.
Just bought a 300 size shear, can't wait to get going with it. Will be better than a chainsaw anyway, hired a flail a couple of years ago and really wasn't impressed
They are the real deal, the amount of material you can get through in a short time without making a mess is incredible! Good luck with it 👍🏼
Nr telefon contact?
Great job Conor, smart use of what you had and a great result..all those jobs end up getting spread out over time..but you're making progress..👍
JB Weld..?
Would work too!
That was some tidy-up job you did with the site at the end, id imagine that took some amount of time
Thanks but I unfortunately didn’t get footage of it and believe it or not I had the low spots filled, tracked in, a channel layer put down, a sub soil layer that was very grey and stoney and the layer of topsoil over it all in just over a day. Thought it would have taken longer myself but just using the trailer to move the material around the site sped it all up! Thanks for watching👍🏼
Why not just leave it as an open sheugh?
Extra maintenance, fencing, and loss of more land area overall. It’s a lifetime job and keeps everything tidy. Everyone will have their own opinion but if you can fill it then just fill it as it will provide the same drainage.
Great video Connor. I grew up working in a JD dealer in the 80's and 90's.. Rebuilding 40 and 50 series back ends and hydraulics took up all my weekends. 👍
Thanks, they certainly do take up plenty of time anyway, that’s for sure!
Hi mate, i have very similar tractor b414. Im replacinging all the wiring. Could you tell me where the 2 wires from ignition switch go to? Thanks
So your ignition starting handle I presume you’re referring to!? If it is then you just connect them to the small switch beside the starter motor. The starting solonoid, once connected properly should do the rest!
Also google IH B-414 wiring diagram/schematic and it will tell you where you wiring needs to go!
Hi, I just have a key switch (not an ignition starting handle?) Can find a diagram hat includes the ignition switch. Even bought the workshop manual and its not in there. Its a 1965 ih b414. Thanks
@@gavindavis2868 As far as I know Gavin they didn’t come with an ignition switch. You will have to wire up the ignition yourself or get a mechanic/auto electrician to do it for you. You only need to run a positive feed to the ignition and a wire out to your starting solonoid to get it to engage the starter.
Super Job. How much do you reckon the steel would of cost to buy it off the shelf (unfabricated of course)
At a rough guess John, probably somewhere from €4-5k.
В нас ціна такого джондіра 3150 від 16000- 21000 доларів
Яка ціна сателітного блока в зборі і чи є запчастини до старих джондірів 1986
Not entirely sure about your question but from translation I think you are asking what the cost of a transmission is? Also most parts are Stil available but most are very expensive and not realistic to buy.
Great video Conor, really enjoyed it. South Armagh?
Cheers for that!👍🏼 Not south Armagh but very close, just on the Monaghan side of it👍🏼
What was the rough cost of getting that crusher in, made light work of that infairness👌field turned out well
£3 a ton crushed, there’s a weighing system on the crusher to tell you how much has went through it!
@connormcmahon3724 that's a fair price - nice work! Greetings from 🇺🇸
@@justinp2559 Thank you Justin, glad you enjoyed it 👍🏼😎

Clamp an end plate on the column for drilling, saves a load of time marking every single hole. Great job all the same
Cheers Shane, the problem I had was getting enough magnetism from the mag drill to not lift off when drilling and the plate wasn’t just long enough. But thanks and great suggestion. Glad you enjoyed 👍🏼
Ok
Super bit of work connor fair play
Cheers Bobby, hope your keeping well lad👍🏼
Connor, I'm from the US. Questions - I'm assuming the pipe is perforated but that white paper you call the tram. I've never heard that term. Is it permeable? Does it block roots? I don't understand it's purpose. Please explain. Thanks.
Hi Jim, yes it’s otherwise known as geotextile membrane. It is permeable to a certain degree yes and yes the pipe is also perforated. The idea of it is to stop gravity and moisture/water movement in the soil carrying the dirt down into the newly buried drainage ditch. It would probably stop some light roots but would definitely not stop heavier roots! It is used a lot for underneath roadways and parking lots that have slightly unstable ground underneath. It stops the wet dirt underneath making its way up through the fresh gravel once traffic starts moving on it. Thanks for watching!
@@connormcmahon3724 thanks so much Connor. Really enjoying your videos.

Great job in fairness! 😃. How do you get a fall in the guttering if it is aligned to the roof?
Pity, you have no longer drill
Hi
😛😛😛😛❤❤❤🦾🦴🦾🦴👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Well done , fair play for sharing all the information, how many hours you reckon you put in
Thanks Francis! A lot of hours! Using old steelwork was the worst for time consumption! I would say there was a couple of weeks work altogether in it. The assembly of the shed itself only took around 8 full days or so. Cheers 👍🏼
Savage video really informative!!! Super job
Thanks Mark
Enjoyed the video.very interesting for a fella like me that doesn't drive a digger and allways be wondering about makeing lanes and yards. What stone You use and different soils. How much You have dig out and what You have to put in. Long text.sorry.👍
No problem John, thanks for the feedback!
After such dirt in the fuel tank, you should check the screen filters at the banjo screws on the injection pump.
Must check them man thanks
Well done, what a job. Fabrication, groundwork’s and erection all done by yourself. Be proud mate. All the best.
I'm glad you made the odd mistake, you made it so easy ,a brilliant job keep it up .
