its not always about carp and in most commercials, there are also good heads of silvers to catch at the same time. this short session at Magpie Lake, on the Waterbeach AC complex proved just that. www.waterbeachac.com bait-tech.com www.cadencefishing.co.uk

    Great stuff steve. I'm going on the middle level soon with my father in law who lives in Outwell. Crooked chimneys or neeps I think. Just wondering if there were any spots you would recommend. For bream etc. Many thanks steve.

      Good evening I like to use bobbins with alarms yes, if daytime I try not to have em loud, just enough so can hear em. At night a little louder incase fall asleep Always check rules tho as one club lake you can not use alarms audible but can on silent and that instance watch bobbins

    hi steve....question...fairly new to carp fishing..just been watching a method feeding vid......[if I am correct this is a way of getting a pile off food to a given spot]...why notjust use a PVA bag..which to me appears to be easier and quicker..cheers.

      Hi Mate I like to get a big bed of food down before I start, it tends to get the smaller fish away and give the bream plenty to graze over. I am usually not looking to catch for at least two hours and it’s keeps them grubbing about most of the session Or least that’s the plan

    I’d love to know how you prepare the Groundbait balls. I can never get the consistency right

    • @stevesfishingchannel2507
      @stevesfishingchannel2507 Рік тому

      Choosing a mix that has some weight to it helps, but preparation is paramount. Once you have your mix how you want it, take a handful and squeeze it with one hand. If the ball looks like it expands a little, you need add a little more water. Once you can squeeze it and it holds together it’s spot on. Before I ball or catapult it in, form the balls then go over them again with wet hands. This adds a skin which aids in holding together when in the air. Balls that break up are either not compacted together or your GB is too dry
