thank you! For exterior dressing I don’t usually dilute anything and just use it straight. As for interiors I either use it straight or use it 1:1 which always leaves a nice sheen to interiors

Thank you!! I love them! I use them for all my coating and paint correction jobs. They’d last me a whole lot longer if I kept them clean and maintained them though😅 As far as pros goes they’re super easy to buy and you get a lot in just one box when going through amazon. That and with how I use them I find them more durable than like griots pads. The cons is that while they do last longer than griots pads. If you don’t maintain them like how i’m supposed to they can make them almost useless. But that’s just because by the time i’m done i just toss them in a bag and forget about them😅

Do you often get jobs to take off the wheels? It should be the same process as cleaning a wheels, just wheel and tire cleaner. If it has a lot of brake dust I’d recommend an iron decontamination spray and just use detail brushes to agitate then rinse off!

No I just wondered for preparation. This is my first month as starting my mobile detailing. Last month I practiced on family and neighbors cars but this month I’ve went to strangers and asked others for their business and I’m wondering for the future. I will definitely practice on our car though. Do you have a specific brand of cleaner you recommend?

Gotcha! So I love adam’s wheel and tire cleaner, comes in a purple container and that works wonders for tire and wheels and is dilatable!

To reduce the overspray and the cloud just lower the psi on your air compressor to 50 or 45 psi

Since it’s water based you can definitely dilute it or use it as is, i believe it says so on the gallon as well. I never really dilute it though since my sprayer makes it last a lot longer. But

The interior alone came out to $400 plus a $50

im guessing they pick up the big trash and all the dust and dirt just goes flying out

The detail was done on their ranch and more specifically on a slab of concrete that they later demolished and later picked everything up with an excavator. They wanted me to throw everything out (large items to) but I at least wanted to bag those up.

So yes I use it all over the vehicle except on screens, only thing i use for screens is just window cleaner that I spray directly on the towel then apply to the screen and wipe

First off, love that you’re getting into it! I have different packages that are based on different needs so if it were to be my level 2 package that’s a good interior and exterior detail. It takes me about 2 1/2hrs If they want my level 3 that includes shampooing and steam cleaning with exterior then it takes me about 3 1/2-4hrs to detail since I also dry the interior out as well and don’t leave anything wet. Mind you I have a process on how everything goes as well as tools that help make it go faster as well. So keep that in mind, not everyone starts out fast and it takes time and repetition to get your own process down as well. Keep going and you’ll get quicker at it!

Awesome to hear about those mission trips. I’m hoping to get involved in some local missions but doing detailing on the side. I did a car today and it took me about 4 hours to do a mid size suv. I’m hoping to invest into getting a tornador blower because it seems like it would cut my time in half lol
