I feel the meaning was that Jesus was afraid at the suffering he was going to have to face in going through his death but in the end resolved to endure it. That's my feeling. Maybe you feel Jesus had no doubt in reality? I don't know if that was your uncertainty about it you might be right. Or maybe you just were not sure about it in general. But all good.
