Hey man I feel your pain. Back when I was new to tf2 I got a Australian tomislav and I thought I was the hottest shit. But then I got a friend request from a random dude he said he wanted me to sign up for his comp team. So my ape brained self didn't think twice about it and signed in to the sight using my steam name and password.Then I got another friend request from a supposed "steam admin" and they said "Hi I am contacting you because you've traded with a possible scammer and we need to validate your items to verify that they are not fraudulent" which should've been a red flag because in tf2 there's no such thing as fraudulent items.but I was so worried about losing my account that I didn't think twice so he sent me a trade with all my items in it to " verify" my items. He stole my items. But unfortunately this story doesn't get a happy ending. I never got my items back and I had to start all over again. I still miss that tomislav to this day. One thing I noticed in both of our stories is that the scammer started getting very pushy and snappy. Scammers will try to rush and pressure you into accepting the trade.And if any in general does that THAT IS A HUGE RED FLAG! Don't take trades your being rushed into or not sure about its most likely a scam
