I see people selling these for over a hundred dollars on ebay. But they are not worth it. The early ones have the pancake motors that are easy to burn out. And the gears and axles are easy to crack and break. But i am glad yours does run.

This model is so weird. The boiler jacket and smokebox design looks like it was repurposed from an N&W Y6. It’s very distinctive and not prototypical to the B&O EL-5 as far as I can see

It looks like the front truck does not get power. Either a detached coupling/shaft, or a cracked worm gear or coupling on its shaft. Easily fixable. 😉 Mehano's drives are excellent for maintaining/servicing.
