I am from Nebraska. I love exploring and finding old and rare bottles. I also enjoy everything Nebraskan. I’m here to give y’all a view of what it’s like to live here. I also seek to glorify God as well in all that I do!
In the depths of antiques…we shall rise
Some more awesome digs that happened between July 21st and August 14-15th. We had fun and found tons of epic bottles.

Too many hutches appeared in this hole. I believe they bottle a whole case and drank it, which they ended up in this hole. April 21st, 2024.

Another thriller from a privy that is about 8 feet deep while looking for Nebraska bottles. It took awhile to find, but it led to mine and Seth’s most loaded privy pit yet. February 11th, 2024.

You need a hand trowel and potato scratcher. I'm surprised you didn't break more bottles with those shovels. J.Au-en
@@susangolden4001 usually getting to the layer shovels are fine, after that we usually use smaller more precise shovels or hand held tools. But yes I do have a hand trowel, but must have forgotten it

The Schramm jars were only made for a few years. The lids are very hard to find., different size than a regular mason.

Hi. like your video's, your out there doing it, I watch many bottle videos. One guy from Scotland use a brush to clean them off as they come out of the ground , it looks like a scrub brush, it cleans them up and you don't get to mucked up , just I would let you know, Thank you for your videos
That’s a good idea, ours were pretty bad that day because of all the clay and moisture. Usually our privies don’t get to muddy in Nebraska and I’ve never even hit the water table. A brush would help a lot in the spring digging after a nice rain to

Wow....still cool ..but damn,...and they left the carrot bag....saw your comment over on southern searchers..... usings newspapers at the local libraries....pretty interesting 👍♠️
It’s worked using newspapers, but what’s worse with this hole is I knew who dug it and could have asked them prior and not have to dig it

If you use a stick it won't break the bottles

As many others have said below the plains sent me over. Always enjoy finding channels from the plains states on bottle collecting or "treasure" hunting. I'm in Kansas.

I live in Canada and am going to begin privy digging soon. a Milk glass med is on my bucket list for sure most of where I am was only settled in like 1900 but il find what I can.
1900 is still a good age, keep digging and you’ll find the old

I saw that daffy's come out and really surprised! That is one bottle I have never dug. Those things show up in the oddest places and almost always in holes that are newer. Those are such a collectible bottle! That insulators is a pretty good score as well.
This Daffy is one of two known dating 1791-1802 and extremely rare. It’s also the only undamaged one as the other known one is damaged, thanks for watching
