Does Maytag think we're stupid?

Thanks man! Sadly with my new job and my daughter being born I sold my bike. One of my biggest regrets. I still have some unedited videos of the sportster and the Buell I also had. I’ll have one again soon and hope to start recording again. Thanks for the words of encouragement!

@@Spazin0ut No worries. I have a daughter and parked my bike. She’s older now so it’s time to put the bike back on the road.

It was a nice sounding filter wish I still had that Buell. It was fun.

My shocks are factory the double barrel kit I purchased from kinetics eBay store. I can’t recommend them enough. I ended up using a limit strap in the rear but there amazing for climbing.

I love the treal wheels. Such a classic look for a classic truck.

I agree I removed them and went with a shell kit.

This thing is a chunkier. We picked it up in Indiana for 300 bucks some years ago. My friend is the owner of it. I wish he would seek it to me. I always enjoyed riding it.

Mine broke after Leaked water I moved to Maytag like 8 years ago and no repair I clean it and lot thing so it work lot

I had only one issue with mine and it was a button had a bad solder joint and they sent me a replacement one that same week.

Thanks man! Totally worth it if your bottoming out. I was right at 170 and was slamming the forks on small bumps. I wish I hadn’t sold my sportster. I traded up for a ultra limited for me in the wife.

You need a newer version controller that’s older and you can’t use this kit

Olsu123 I did not. I still had a stock intake but I did use a shim under the jet needles. Just a single.

Thanks man! Just saw your reply. I don’t have my sportster anymore. But I just picked up a 98 buell s1w White lightning in pearl white. It’s beautiful. I loved my super low. Just hard to ride with me and the wifey!

Justin Anger check on amazon man. That’s where I got my pegs. I got a passenger seat from Harley. But their both super easy to install.

@@Spazin0ut Thanks man! I considered lowering it but I'm going for a "club style" look so having the rear a little higher is ok. I'm hoping new fork springs will help keep the front from sagging so much. Trying to decide between the Progressive springs and the Race Tech springs.

Twins Moto Garage I can only vouch for the progressive. You can also get adjustable caps for the top. To adjust preload I had to mess with my pvc length some to get it how I liked it. It if you do these springs. You will notice a huge difference. You could go a step further and do oil too.

Brock Wiles I think a million of us have asked the same question for years. It would be so simple to install too from the factory. It does have a low fuel light. Witch seems kinda of pointless I always just run mine till about 100 miles and fill up.

Thanks man it’s totally worth the upgrade. And most Harley’s are about the same when it comes to the springs. I ended up adjusting them a little but still love them.

@@Spazin0ut I plan on adding preload adjusters when I install mine.

Gorilla HD never ran the preload adjuster. I bet they help out a lot when fine tuning.

@@Spazin0ut I weigh 300 lbs so I will definitely want the ability to tighten things up. ;-) I will be running the Superbrace fork brace as well. That plus a little heavier weight oil and I should see a very impressive improvement in performance.

John Hampton I completely agree with you. They are skimping on the sportsters. With the air shocks from a ultra classic and these springs it rides so much better. But could still be improved.

French Rider I love the ultra shocks. I had a friend give them too me. He just had them laying around. I messed with the air pressure a lot. It don’t take much. So I would recommend getting a hand pump. The best part is when I’m riding with my wife. We no longer bottom out. Or feel like we are riding on a loose spring. I road a bike with burly slammers. And it was wonderful but I was just riding solo. There simple to install. They go on just like stock. They will raise the bike up some. But I used a lowering bracket to make it just lower than stock. Overall if you have the money get some progressives. They will look better. The air shocks are kinda bulky. But you can usually find them pretty cheap. If you do get used ones make sure you change out the oil in them. It helps out a lot. And not to hard to do. Thanks for watching the video man! Any more questions. Just ask.
