    My frigidaire doesn't have that tab you used to take the sprayer arm off. My filter has crud underneath but I can't remove it! Frigidaire calls this filter "self cleaning" but it is most definitely not. I scrape and rinse my dishes, because even though many say you don't have to, I have experienced a moldy dishwasher, and it's not failing to dry it out between washes that causes it, it's all the crud inside it's workings. It needs to be cleaned, but how do I remove one that doesn't have the tab?

    I don't know if this will stop the issue I'm having, water leaking from under the dishwasher, but I figured I would start here! These instructions are so easy to follow, this dishwasher is similar to mine. I've had it two years and this was the first cleaning. Fortunately, it wasn't as gross as the one in the video. I only use it once a week, and I scrape my dishes before they go in. I'm a senior with mobility issues but it was still easy to take apart, clean and put it back together. I managed to complete it in less than 15 minutes. I am running an empty short cycle right now, I placed a bowl of white vinegar on the top rack and bottom rack. I sprinkled some baking soda in the bottom, about 3 Tblsp. and it's running. I am hoping this unplugs whatever was making it leak onto the floor. If not, the next step is calling the plumber!

    • @DIYwithCam
      @DIYwithCam 18 днів тому

    • @DIYwithCam
      @DIYwithCam 21 день тому

      exactly as I did in this video. I just put some more of this flooring down and was experimenting without using the little black tool and it is possible to connect the long length first, then tap the short edge with the hammer. I was still finding some gaps with this method so I ended up using the tapping block to secure the long edge first, and then tap the short edge in. At the end of the day, both floors look great and the slightly different way of installing hasn't caused any issue with either floor.

    OK great on the example you just did because I was making a a lot harder right my question is that nobody can answer is it was filling up so I thought it was a clogged filter and all that other stuff I just got done taking off the filter like you just did cleaned all that out, wet dry back out sucked out all the water took apart at the garbage disposal but now my problem is and has been I thought it was a latch not connecting because the machine will turn on a normal hit start all the lights come on in the 10 seconds later it’ll turn all off. So I don’t know nobody even at Frigidaire can explain it other than send out a repair person but by the time you go with that cost might as well just buy a new dishwasher cause they certainly don’t make dishwashers or any appliances like they used to I used to live in the house for 24 years and never had to replace any appliances I’ve lived in this house for seven years already had to replace my LG microwave After I replace the magnetron once and it worked for another year but that was it and then I just got done replacing the latch thinking that was the connection because you could tell that the latch had some oxidation it the pins

    Just what I needed. I'm lucky I didn't break it. Without this video I would have... I wash jars and the labels come off so I need to clean it often.

      yes, the labels do get caught in the filter. I'm glad you found the video and now your dishes will be clean.

    Wrap some silicone tape around the shaft under the handle and it’ll stick like shit to a blanket but it’s non adhesive so the handle can easily be removed or repositioned

      Thanks for the suggestion. I will give this a try when it warms back up and I need to get the weed eater out again.
