As a self taught open handed handed drummer myself, this is very cool. Your playing is slick. Do you alternate lead hands here? I play a traditional one rack kit, except with an additional floor tom on my left and my ride is to left of my hat, which is lower than on a normal righty setup. Some things I lead with my right, many with my left, and when I need to swap leading hands I either use a diddle or flam my way out of it. In your mirrored concept (very reminiscent of Chafee) does it require the entire kit to be mirrored, or could I apply it with just a slave hat on my right and utilise my two exusting floor toms?
