While a very well paced story and original villain, the book still has issues with it being out of place for the main Spider-Man Book. I review the conclusion to Zeb Wells and John Romita Jr.'s Run on Amazing Spider-Man with issue #60/954. I will say the entire run, I have enjoyed the artwork on the story and some of the darker stories. The entire run for almost three years has been really a mess. I do my best to give fair points and in the end. I look towards the future.

Reviewing Ultimate Spider-Man #10 by Jonathan Hickman and David Messia. I really enjoyed this issue as I call it: "A Day out with Jonah and Ben". While it seems to put the Ultimate Sinister Six story on pause. You can't help love what Jonah and Ben discover as they find out the Ultimate Universe is darker than they could have possibly imagined.

I review Amazing Spider-Man #59/953 as the big final battle between Spider-man and Tombstone for the life of Janice Lincoln. John Romita Jr and Scott Hanna rock the artwork and add a great level of dread and circumstances to the issue. But outside some well placed dialogue, the issue is a lot of fluff and not much story. As we approach the end of Zeb Wells' run on Spider-Man.

Wrapping up September, I review Amazing Spider-Man #58/952 and Ultimate Spider-Man #9. While I enjoyed the battle and artwork in Amazing, there isn't much story to the whole issue that feels a bit stretched out. While Ultimate Spider-Man hits not only all the right notes, but gives us one of the best scenes between Mary Jane, J. Jonah Jameson and Ben Parker. Give me more please.

A milestone review, as I review Amazing Spider-Man #950. As we get the big Tombstone story by Zeb Wells, John Romita Jr and Scott Hanna. While I do enjoy the main story. A few of the flashback stories kind of disrupt the main story. Especially when it comes to Paul Rabin. As his story doesn't make us sympathize with his character, if anything, it makes it even more of a mess.

Back from vacation, I review the conclusion of the Sins of the Green Goblin with Amazing Spider-Man #45/948, Shadow of the Green Goblin #4 and Ultimate Spider-Man #7. While the artwork is great in Amazing, the story jumps all over the place to an "end". While Shadow gives us a satisfying conclusion and Ultimate continues to be the best Spider-Man Book around.

The issue finally explains what is the real reason behind the Spider who Gobbles and is filled with some fantastic artwork. The book however feels like it's heading to it's wrap up and the reader is ready to move on too.

I have loved these last 3 issues, it has hooked me and initially I didn't think I was going to like it but man was I ever wrong.
This run left such a bad taste in my mouth. I think i had enough of Asm for awhile. Maryjane still has that genocidal mass murderer as a boyfriend. She is still Jackpot. Chasm ended up evil again. Everyone says Tombstone story arc was his best work. Spider-man never had any problems with this c level badguy. This issue 60 did not solve anything. Like i said i'm done with Asm.. Skipping the eight deaths i'm not into torture. After that.. Who knows... If i Come back depends on the story and how they handle Peters relationship.
This ending sucked and was completely garbage fire that made no sense to me in my opinion
When is zeb wells time of this book going to end
