Day 4 at sea & travel home

So we have come to the end of our short trip. for the last day we had a day at sea and just enjoyed the ship a bit more, we played shuffle board one last time, saw the comedian and saw center stage the onboard show. departure day was very easy and was no hassle at all to get to the car and get home. I’m getting a bit scared now. I’ve been on other p&0 ships, but it’s the first time on. Ventura.
Why scared? It was a lovely ship we just had a few restrictions that we didn’t know about before we went on

Another P&O cutback steak used to be 8oz, then cut to 6oz and now see a measley 5oz!! january on Azura put us first night table of 8, 6.30pm sitting 20 minutes waiter brought the menu after repeatedly asking after being told when the table was full. 7pm still the 2 of us reluctantly took our order. starter unseasoned, main coarse sirloin stone ruddy cold, instant packet bernaise sauce without tarragon as they had none. Sent mains back , plate came back luke warm re heated steak now with cold chips still on the plate. Food standards all week in main dining rooms never improved, neither did the service. PS it is lamb leg but boned and rolled
will be in that same cabin as you were...did you hear noise from the windjammer (chair sliding along the floor, etc..or at night for late nite eating)...thanks!
This was a great room, didn’t hear anything from the windjammer and only heard the aqua show when we had the door open

It’s not really noise from Central Park that you hear however noise from pool area does echo down during the day

May I ask if you had the drinks package and how you found it?
Yes we went for the deluxe package as we like a double rather then single measures , we certainly found it was worth the money for us probably have 5 or 6 drinks each in evening , and soft drinks , coffees and a few cocktails around the pool , I think you need to be sure you will drink 8 drinks plus a day to break even cocktails are around £7.50 a drink

Hi, really helpful video, thanks. Was the ship full? I’ve heard it’s really difficult to get a seat at the bars etc?
Only bar we found full was the sky lounge I.lm the evening and the virtuosa lounge
The ship is full this week but there are still plenty of seats available in the bars
If you want the ship to be empty go on it between October - December

My wife and I are planning on visiting there in 2024. We’re from the USA and always wanted to visit. We plan on staying at one of the Heathrow airports and venturing out throughout London and one visiting a friend of ours who lives in Kettering. It’s really difficult to pick which hotel to stay at. We plan on staying for 6 nights.
We would recommend the renaissance hotel, not to far from the main terminals on the main road so close to the motorway and bus. We have a video for that hotel as well 😁

I think they are provided, we were on in February and they were given out then
@@Thegoldenguysuk is using the sports arena and taking part in sports activities such as the football and basketball free of charge or do you have to pay a fee?
Activities such as football and basketball ball were included and detailed on daily planner , I’m not sure if you have to pay a deposit to use the court outside of organized activities ,

We were underneath the flowridder that far back. Only noise we had was next cabin door slamming on the first night. I think on your side would be the play scape and that shuts I think at night so you will be fine 😁
