Simplicity Regent XL RD belt replacement
To replace the belt it's not necessary to dismantle the mower completely, I dismantled to repaint an had a good view on the different parts of the machine. If you can jack up the machine sufficiently high, to take out the axle of the steering wheel, you can remove the belt without taking away the wiring an the fixation rod from the electromagnetic clutch and without disassembling the U shaped plate under the machine.

Het blijft mij verbazen dat een leek inzake benzinemotoren, zoals ikzelf, de machine terug aan de praat krijgt, na heel wat werk moet ik erbij zeggen. De machine is bij twee bedrijven in tuinmachines voor herstelling aangeboden. De eerste heeft 86,- euro aangerekend zonder enige oplossing van het probleem : bougie vertoon roetaanslag, weinig kracht in de motor, en tenslotte valt hij stil. Het tweede bedrijf begon er eigenlijk liever niet aan. Tot mijn verbazing draait alles momenteel perfect, het is een probleemloos startende krachtige machine.
