Hello from Guyana South America you're awesome
Very professional,and I must say,simply gorgeous.😊
Useful
I have the option to take: (advance structures) or (environmental engineering). and (Environmental Eng. Chemistry) or (Reinforced Concrete Design) -which ones to take to become utilities engineer aka storm water engineer?
Hi, thank you for info. I need your advice to choose among OT and Mental councellor which one is good in terms of pay and job security in oz
I LOVE my patients and OT in its purity! But don’t let people glamorize a profession that is suffering right now! Do your research! Interview OTs working in skilled nursing facilities and other sites! Interview people who have been doing it for years! In a nursing home setting working for contract companies you will have a short amount of time with resident so you will be competing tasks they can not finish on their own!! Such as, washing/ dressing/ and wiping backsides!!
The caskets always look so different in different parts of the world and even country
Hi Ms Smith, it’s me James. I have been interested to land a job in recruitment. If you could please guide me through all these processes step by step how recruitment works. I’m currently living in Auckland.
Shes right this girl about being a open comMuniCATIon and goOd peoPLE skilLS persON as you deal with many difFERent stakeholders and meEtings Wonderful. U like her manner
I'm a Recruitment Consultant and absolutely love it! It is a very rewarding career if you enjoy dealing with people and establishing good relationships.
Ques
“I didn’t like track team or online classes worst years of my life”
very nice
Thanks you, it's better than mika kim video. This video are so helpful 👍🏻
The background music is a mistake.
Great video, very interesting. Can someone who is not a typical "salesperson " work well as a recruiter.
If I was a funeral director I would change the name to a traditional name the Undertaker would have a black suit purple gloves and purple tie and the undertakers music for the funeral home
Too much TV for you lol
Do you have to take people to poop and clean it up? Just curious because I know OT’s help people do stuff but I was wondering if you guys had to help them use the restroom. Please let me know, this video was great 🔥
If you are doing a FULL ADL it is expected you finish up where the patient can not finish! Yes! You finish washing people and dressing AND assisting with toilet hygiene! It is not fun at times! But the patient comes first! I LOVE my patients and OT in its purity! But don’t let people glamorize a profession that is suffering right now! Do your research! Interview OTs working in skilled nursing facilities and other sites! Interview people who have been doing it for years! @@shawneeshawnee6190do you specialise in a set area or are you a general OT? I know there's the option to specialise (like in mental health for example)
@@shawneeshawnee6190also what country are you an OT in? Because how stretched the profession is depends on country. The UK NHS is massively underfunded in every part of the NHS
Thanks ...
Most recruiters are shit and clueless 😒
Recruiters need to quit looking at peoples culture and background when hiring its discrimination.
@@Hotsport_RugbySimulations its for them to keep discriminating. They hire white foreigners and white Americans and Afro Africans.. Discriminating against black descendants of slaves. To fake diversity. Trying to prove they are not bigots when indeed they are.
@@Hotsport_RugbySimulations systematic oppression and economic inequality is not speculation its Jim crow and black codes still at work in 2023.
@@Hotsport_RugbySimulations yall need to stop discriminating but the bible says oppressors have a power on their side and its not the comforter.. The evil powers that be allows you all to sit in high places and oppress people. The oppressed according to bible has no power and no comforter. But God almighty will come for those that are oppressed. Its nothing any oppressor can do for those they oppress but continue oppressing. Until God Almighty puts an end to it once and for all.

I NEVER RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO DO OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Why,??
@@shimmiyasebastian3100 I would not suggest this course to anyone for a variety of reasons. This role is dominated by white women due to a lack of diversity. I've encountered indirect racism from white colleagues, PATIENT RELATIVES, and peers. Pay is low, and there are no extra hours unless your trust runs a seven-day service, in which case you must be a band 6 or 7. After taxes, you will be paid around 1,500 pounds per month if you work for the NHS. The majority of other professionals are unaware of your role and refer to you as a physiotherapist. All you do is sort out discharges like a discharge nurse who is paid more than you. ( UK EXPERIENCE)
@@shimmiyasebastian3100 As an acute OT, your job entails organising discharge destinations (however, discharge nurses), raising patient furniture, access visits to see if a piece of equipment will fit in the property (which you will not do frequently), spending hours writing notes that no one reads aside from therapies, kitchen and washing, and dressing assessments that no one cares about. When you start as a band 5, you have a very low employment rate, unlike nursing, where you have a lot of possibilities.
@@shimmiyasebastian3100 lastly, There’s a big gap between the course and NHS role. If you want to do occupational therapy please I recommend you to do an apprenticeship instead of the course if you really want to work in hospital setting.
@@ayasims6816 thank you. God bless you for the revelation 💕
love the video me and my kids enjoyed!!!
how did you do it can you share with me , thank you

I hear this job pays very good and it's very easy
The pay is average and it's definitely not "easy" work. But it is very rewarding in other ways.

How to become civil engineer
Honest & accurate 👍
ua-cam.com/video/Au5RVh1lrnY/v-deo.html let’s spread world oT day
It is a shame to have the music in the background. This is very distracting and totally defeat the purpose of this educational video presentation. It lacks inclusivity.
hi , i am a civil engineer working with mega hydropower project . I need your contact number or email id so that I can share some information . thanks and regards
This is so intimidating considering they don't teach you any of this in school
Congratulations on the great level of service you are giving to the clients it is a vocation rather than just a job.Pat Timmins Funeral Director Dudley West Midlands UK
Hi
I recently resigned from my job in an acute mental health institution. I love OT so much that I felt like mental health was too restricting for me.
I will be opening my private practice in a month or less.
OT is good or Behavioral councellor is good?
I am interested in being a funeral director and embalmer.
The qualities you need are having a great passion for giving the highest level of care to the deceased and their families remember we only have one chance to get the funeral right that meets the families expectations it is the most rewarding job in the world I would not want to do anything else be prepared to start at the bottom every day you learn something new, one thing that you will find is that people who work in the funeral industry are friendly and kind.If you have the passion and commitment to the job you will do well.Best wishes Pat Timmins Funeral Director UK
Nice Rolls
That Rolls Royce Hearse dates back to 1970, was owned by W.H. Tongue Funerals, in Auckland. Gee & Hickton bought it, and restored it to its current Glorious Condition.
here in the US you need to go through school to work in mortuary science (at least for a mortician) and to be a funeral director you need to go through school as well, but I don't know if it's regulated. I wanted to work as a crematory operator (not working with embalming or anything, just working the machine) and you still need to be put through school to be licensed. it's nice to know that in NZ there isn't a whole lot of regulation for people wanting to work in a funeral home
My degree consisted of a Bachelors of Applied Science. To own the business that’s what’s needed. There’s also a vocational certification to be an embalmer. But in smaller areas, it’s Funeral Directors aka Morticians (the term runs hand in hand) doing everything. It takes education here. One can’t just walk into a funeral home, and just say “hey I want to be a funeral director”. Nope not here in the US. Im in IL by the way. When I saw her age of 21, it almost floored me. But then when she said she was in NZ, it made me think their rules and regulations are nowhere as strict as here. To be an embalmer you have to have a license. To be a funeral director/Mortician it’s a Bachelors degree. Some mortuary schools exist around the country. I’m not sure what they graduate with. I didn’t go that route.
Im a soon to be funeral director...i start my apprentice soon...just curious on what i will be doing
Congrats girl.. I’m also wanting to go to school for mortician.. I can’t wait.. I wish you luck on your journey!!
@@tru3g3mini44 thanks girl..i finally started my apprentice and did my first pick up today shook me up but enjoyed it (crazy saying that lol) but yes im ready to start this school in the summer...i wish u luck as well...happy u found ur calling!!
could you please make a video on remote jobs for science graduates
I love this & wish I could live in OZ or NZ. Have always been fascinated with those countries & how classy/well educated everyone seems to be compared to us Americans lol We do have a more strict program for this though, a Masters is required & soon will be Doctorate. But this goes to show what needs to be learned really can be covered in 4 yr Bachelors & all the extra hours are fluff & money grabbing fillers. Again, just makin me wanna move on your side of the world😎
She is really fantastic. Clearly made for this role! X
I'm a direct care professional. Recently took the first steps to becoming an embalmer. I to wish to work in a good healthy work environment.
Same
Last month we got to have the fancy car for my nans service at gee and hickton lowerhutt she always would have wanted to ride in style
Sorry for your loss.
she's gorgeous!
Years ago before I switched careers and became a pilot I was a Funeral Director / Embalmer at Lychgate in Wellington
@@melissademianchuk2656 I really liked helping people and being a funeral director helped open a lot of doors later. It does make your resume stick out...even in the airline industry. Dislike....being payed peanuts to work endless hours. Being a Funeral Director is a 24/7 job and if you don't own an interest in the business owners try to get away with paying you ridiculously low wages for the time you put in.
Kia ora Mesri ,I have done my civil engineering degree in my home country. Now I am doing level 7 construction management course at ARA Institute of Canterbury Christ Church. How can I get a job there. Would you please help me to find a civil job there. Please help me.My son is studying there. Please help me ,a request from a mother. This is for my son .
