Funny to see all these clowns act out in the comment section. In Norway children have rights, not just the parents like it is in a lot of countries. You sit with one side of the story. How many abused children get help in your country? Hardly anyone, that`s right. If you study this in your own country you should get outraged from that instead. The biggest complaint from the children themselves is that barnevernet took to long to help, and unfortunatly a lot of them don`t get help at all. (this goes for every country) The number of children that don`t get any help whatsoever is FAR FAR higher in other countries. So the Poles, Romanians, Americans etc etc should really not be sitting on a high horse at all.

As an romanian who don't have any contact with either norwegians or romanians living in Norway, I just want to express my point of view in what I read about all those cases. Unfortunately it sounds like a horrible situation what had happened to Bodnariu family, but in reality we don't know these people, their lives, their decisions and how they treat their children and we don't know either the people from Barnevernet who took that decision. They are also very private and confidential informations that we don't know and not publicly made to expose the children and their lives. Also they are many speculations (i'm not referring to all cases but some) about Barnevernet who "steals children from an typically eastern european hard working and christian families living in Norway to sell them to people who might homosexualise or make them hate the church and so on". The Bodnariu and other families look like very civilised and of goodwill, but we actually don't know any details than those made online and many people are making theories and sensational stories after their cases, which in reality we might not be sure of. Unfortunately in Romania they are many cases of mistreatment of children by various parents and even the authorities. I happened that innocent children were bring to the judge and the prosecutors by the gendarmerie from being neglected by kindergarten personnel (named as the "Kindergarten of Doom" Grădiniță Groazei by all the press), some being exploited for prostitution and forced to begging in the streets by roma clans (something you see often in Bucharest, particularly the Central Train station Gara de Nord) and minors forced to marry by those (even though they might accept it as part of their culture but is illegal), many nannies, caregivers and school teachers are aggressive in such cases that will injure children in school and at home, many children that have dyslexia and autism and are badly treated by caregivers in special centres even tied to the wall without eating and drinking for days! Our orphanages centres have the worst conditions in Europe and even here in romanian orphanages teens had taken their own lives (cazul de suicid de la/suicide case from Craiova) COMPLETELY HORRIBLE AND HEARTBREAKING even in our Christian eastern european country and very unfortunate for an EU country since 11 years ago, many children are living in below poverty conditions and many are starving like 1 in 10 children from Romania don't have anything to eat to dinner, something unimaginable in rich countries like Norway. Even if they came from rural, poor and minority ethnic background but they still are CHILDREN! In Eastern Europe and mostly Russia numerous LGBT teenagers are threatened and many take their own lives or being killed by others including family members, because are seen as sinners or ill just because they have the same love feelings as everyone for persons who have the same gender or are feeling that they are apart from the gender were assigned to it, and the attitudes in the rest of eastern Europe is similar, that of unacceptance of their children for who their are, and these groups who are vocally "protecting Christianity" against people who have done nothing to harm it are totally disgraceful and disgusting, similar to how they've portrayed Barnevernet. To force your children to be what you want to be and to neglect him is also AN HORRIBLE SIN! And as an Christian (baptised Orthodox) who believes in Our Lord Jesus Christ I think that fellow Christians must respect other persons who share an different religion, sexual orientation and view, because we don't think what would happen if we were in their situation. It is also so hypocrate that in eastern european they all stereotype the western and northern european countries as paedophiles, WELL GUESS WHAT... Romania has paedophiles too (and many recent cases for example in the news, when an police traffic office was explicitly sexually harassing children and women in the elevator, and was covered by fellow colleague and exposed to the public years later, and was an completely demented asshole with his asshole colleagues too) and also all countries unfortunately has this kind of individuals, also Eastern European! We think we have people christian-raised with the fear of God but those who pretend to be so called "Christians" and "morally disciplined" and "will go to heaven because they have their house full with christian icons, go in pilgrimages and teach others good morals" and prejudiced everyone who is different ARE REAL PERVERTS! We eastern european pretend to be so disciplined, conservative and say awful and false things of people from countries were have an much better system and their well being is completely superior to our forced poverty by those who had lead our countries and our mentalities into fascistic and stalinist ruins.
