Nice my first jazz guitar was an es 175. Listened to lots of Joe Pass, Herb Ellis etc back in the day. Saw Joe Pass live at Ronny Scotts'. Nice playing.

I have both guitars and sometimes I make comparisons like this. FG100 is perfect for traditional jazz and also for a methenyan sound, the GB10 is the ideal instrument for soul-jazz.

私はIbanezのGB10の方が魅力的な音色だと感じましたが、他の方々のコメントを読むとGibsonの方が良いと言っている人達が多くて、ちょっと意外です。私の再生機器で聴くとIbanezのGB10は甘くて魅惑的な音色。Gibsonはトレブリーに聴こえますが、全く逆のコメントが見られますね。お互いの再生機器の問題かも知れません。最終的には自分で実際に弾いてみないと正確な判断は下せないようです。

I like both guitars but the 175 has that "something," which attracts my ears more than GB10... Great presentation. Thank you. 👏

2 different sounds... the FG100 has more depth and bass while GB10 is brighter and more distinct in tones... it 's a matter of taste 🙂

Each guitar has its own voice. The FB-100 for small venues, the GB- 100 for large concert halls. But if I was only buying one jazz axe, it's the GB-100 hands down.

Well done my friend ,both have their own voice ,I currently have a GB 10 as well ,and it's a great axe .As a trumpet major playing guitar has helped me to appreciate real guitarist like yourself and others who have dedicated their life to this art. Play on my brother.

Does the GB10 have mini humbuckers?

Both very good guitars. A change of pick or attack could make any of the two sound very similar to the other. And the sound of a guitar is always different from a player to another.

Both are great jazz boxes ,I had an 70 s era Es 175 ,now I have gb10 .,I highly recommend the GB series for all guitarists students or pros ..Half the price ,still has decent resale value .

Ibanez more acustic sound

id defenitely prefer the fg100 soundwise
