The developer added it into the game since version 4.13b. It's a random drop that both sides can pick up. Vampires can convert the lumber into gold at 3 minutes while humans can have even more lumber to make more goldmines.

I don't want to do that because I'm to lazy XD. Besides resource as human is super easy to come by. If you use a plain house, that just leaves vampires with more ways to destroy that house easily compared to if it was the last tier house.

The vampires in this game just happened to spend 4k of their gold on a marine. Instead of other more helpful items/utilities. It really depends on what you spend your gold on. Vampires have an item that gain gold every 10 hits on your wall. So they aren't ever really in a gold drought. They didn't utilize the marines power to the full extent, nor did they get a lot of value out of it. That's why it looked like they were really behind. Letting humans also eliminate your marine is really bad, because that's 4,000 gold down the drain.

@@Ottonary If i try to launch wc3 with JNloader it says fatal exception. Which is why i would always open it with frozen throne exe, and had no problems...but now I can't play and it sucks ass lol

Either eliminate marines with Lightning Oracle or try and use slayers. In the video, you can see some humans trying to build LO to eliminate my marines but they die nearly instantly. I also have the wolf ability which reduces the armor of structures too, and if they reach negative armor they deal extra damage too. Marines have 4k Range compared to LO 3k range though. Realistically this wouldn't be possible without a ton of feed especially this early on. So if you are going to build LO to destroy marines you must come with a plan because they out range your tower. Something like engineer's can easily repair the dying LO.
